In my hiatus, I also discovered that Ozark is a rad show.
And West World is hot trash, and maybe the biggest waste of a great premise of all time. Fight moi.

I like your ending.
I loved (LOVED) the first season of West World but have been avoiding the second because everyone says it's a hot mess.

The pace and terror of season 1 was great.Ozark is a lot of fun.
And Marty did nothing wrong. The whole way. I don’t think the cartel would have even let him say no once he found out the business

Season 1. The first few episodes was some of the best TV of all time. But they ditched the world building (the best part) too soon to get into a plot that moved too fast. And the Delos employees were all cartoon characters. That was tough. Season 2...yeaaaaah.I like your ending.

But man those first few episodes. Nothing like it on TV. Ever, maybe.

Aside from some great performances, True Detective season 3 was a huge disappointment.

That’s pretty much where I ended up with it.Aside from some great performances, True Detective season 3 was a huge disappointment.
Ali was fantastic. The story was meh.
Better than season two, but well below season one.

Losers is a pretty neat little Netflix docuseries. It is a collection of redemption stories about folks that made it to the top of their sport and then lost. The Jean van de Velde episode was just heartbreaking.

Arrow to end after the next season, only 10 episodes. I haven't watched in a couple of years, but it seems like it's time.

The show lost me when flashback revealed he wasn’t actually stuck on the island for 5 years but was actually out and about doing heroic stuff during that time period. Dumb.Arrow to end after the next season, only 10 episodes. I haven't watched in a couple of years, but it seems like it's time.

Amazon confirmed that the Lord of the Rings series will be set during the Second Age of Middle-earth, which is the era when the Rings of Power were first created and the evil Sauron first rose to power. But what does the Isle of Numenor have to do with that?
The Isle of Numenor is a mythic lost civilization (J.R.R. Tolkien intended it as an allusion to Atlantis) from whom the great men of Gondor are descended. Separated by the Great Sea from the continent known as Middle-earth, Numenor housed the apotheosis of the human race: they were physically perfect and lived three times as long as the average human. Aragorn, who is at the ripe age of 87 during the events of Lord of the Rings in the Third Age, is descended from one of the great kings of Numenor and is one of the few that retain pure Numenorean blood.
After a cataclysmic event that involves a clash with the gods and war against Sauron, Numenor is sunk into the sea, thousands of years before the events of The Lord of the Rings. But their legacy would remain in the kingdom of Gondor, which becomes the great Realm of Men, in the south and the kingdom of Arnor in the north.
