Yep, and those numbers get worse when the Disney content leaves later this year, NBC the next, Warners after that...

It’s gonna get ugly unless they get some original content to get those numbers back up.

Netflix Original content is my beef with them. A handful of great shows, a mountain of endlessly promoted **** to weed through to try and find quality viewing.

Honestly, with all the stuff leaving Netflix I wouldn't be surprised if we cancel it. At some point, the only thing left on there that I will re-watch are the old Star Trek shows.

Same here. I went back to watch Parts Unknown's earlier seasons only to find that only a handful of recent seasons are on there. Probably waiting for Warners streaming service (isn't CNN owned by Warner Entertainment?)

They have plenty of original content, but not a lot of good to great content worth watching.

I feel like a broken record at this point, but streaming subscriptions are/have already morphed into an a la carte model. New season of Stranger Things? Subscribe to Netflix for a month then cancel. Handmaid's Tale? Wait til all episodes are available and subscribe to Hulu for a month then cancel. Then Disney+ for Mandalorian. It will take extra work on the consumer end but it will ultimately be way way cheaper than cable.

This will work great until streaming networks force a contract...

Jessica Jones S3 is excellent, much better than S2.

Big mouth and Ozark...can’t think of anything else I’m really looking forward to on Netflix.

Just finished season 1 of Ozark. We’ll stick with it.

Really like Jason Bateman.

I raced thru season 1 in 2 nights last week. It's kind of a redneck version of Breaking Bad imo. See what season 2 has to offer once I return from my British trip in a couple weeks.

‘The Orville’ Is Moving To Hulu For Season 3
During today’s The Orville panel at San Diego Comic-Con, show creator and star Seth MacFarlane made big news, announcing the show is hopping from the Fox Broadcasting Network to the Hulu streaming service.

The move is a surprise, as Fox had already announced a third season renewal for The Orville in May. According to MacFarlane, moving to Hulu is something he felt would be best for the show, allowing it more flexibility. No date was given for the premiere of the third season, but sources tell TrekMovie it is targeted for the fall of 2020, with production set to start this fall. The third season is expected to run 10-13 episodes and will be released on a weekly basis, which is traditional for most of Hulu’s original series, like The Handmaid’s Tale.
Ughhh. I wish they released the entire season at once so I could download them all and watch without having to remember each week.

Rewatched the cruise episode of always sunny. Having a harder time dealing with Dennis, who is just such an obvious sex criminal.

Also, watching through a different lens, their alcoholism is very real and sad. I think there’s sort of a prank on the viewer with some of this, where they’re tricking us into rooting for these guys.

With that said, probably going to be the best comedy show of all time time when it’s all done - despite how last season wrapped up.

thought the ending of big little lies was pretty good. i thought at the end when zoe kravitz was driving she was going to drive in to oncoming traffic and kill mary louise and go for the mother son combo

It was pretty tidy. The whole thing played out in a really straightforward way...which is sort of refreshing when every other show seems to be outthinking itself.

I think the Zoe Kravitz stuff dragged the season down a lot, but overall, pretty decent. Somehow.

I'm actually getting annoyed with this finale as it settles in. They built Mary Louise up into this formidable character to just have her get pwned by Celeste on the witness stand and then end show. There's something about making a lawyer heroic in that sort of courtroom setting that seems too cliche and I'm annoyed they resorted to that as the climax.
