I’ve enjoyed The Chase and The Hustler game shows on ABC but only by recording them and buzzing through the nonsense.

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on the other hand...

I can’t see or hear the words “the chase” without thinking of Kristy Swanson.

Yup. In reading that line I immediately thought of Kristy Swanson and Paul Newman.

Lupin, a French Netflix series, is pretty good. Based on a French version of Sherlock Holmes, but modernized. They split the first season up into two five episode parts, so not much of a commitment.

Cool, this sounded pretty good and I like the actor from the intouchables movie

Sherlock Holmes, master thief?
Good point. Lupin is a gentleman burglar - like Robin Hood. The author saw the popularity of Sherlock Holmes and wrote his version of it, for French audiences.

In later books, the two either face-off or team up - I'm not sure, as I've never read them.

But the show is a cool premise, because the books exist in the show and the main character is a huge fan of them.

Speaking of Sherlock, we watched the first episode of the BBC series with the kids last night - they loved it! Hard to believe the show is now 11 years old though.

How cool would it be to have Cumberbatch's Sherlock show up on an episode of Lupin? Both are on Netflix, fwiw...

We were talking about doing the same. I think my daughter would love it, not sure if the younger boys would get into it

My 12 and 14 year olds loved it. I think it might be too dark for younger children though.

The History Of Curse Words on Netflix is sort of mindless fun. Empty calories, but entertaining in its way.

I really liked season 2.

Has anyone watched the Chris Rock season? I haven’t heard a single word about it.

Correct. I really disliked it. It changed up the formula and did it poorly. It was basically a straight mob story and a below average one at that.

I may have liked Season 2 more than 1. Haven't been able to bring myself to watch the Chris Rock season yet.

We finished the Americans the other night. Absolutely superb series.
Was selfishly hoping for more action in the finale but I thought it was one of the best series finales I've seen. Felt bad for Stan.

I’ve been going through all the earliest Looney Tunes on HBO Max, but this is good to know. Pouring myself a bowl of sugary cereal right now!

The Stand gets better with every episode. It has been much better than expected.

I hope not, but I laughed when I read this because I knew exactly who you were referring to before any references.
