I have removed The Passage from my DVR queue.
I'm close to doing the same. Two episodes in and I'm pretty sure it's not worth the drive space.

Slow and boring. Cool idea, but after the 3rd episode it was still basically nowhere. Everything covered so far could easily have been in the first episode. Maybe by first commercial break of the second episode.

I'm close to finishing my 4th watching of the whole run of the Office and I'm more convinced that the decision to break the 4th wall in Season 9 is as bad as the ending of Lost in the annals of dumb decisions.

Yup. Honestly I just expect to be disappointed by just about every film/TV adaptation of books that I love. The Passage, virtually every Stephen King novel/series, etc.

The only time I'm not let down by book adaptations seem to be John Le Carre novels. Whether it's a feature film or miniseries, they've all been pretty good - especially the recent ones.

Post-Michael was a disaster.

The only thing that got better post Michael was the Dwight-Jim relationship. Beyond that, BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

During my third watch of The Office I came to appreciate post-Michael more. Seasons 7-9 are nowhere near as good as 2-6 (I still think 1 is a rough watch), but I enjoyed them. Deangelo Vickers sucked and was standard Ferrell nonsense, but I enjoyed the Robert California ridiculousness in 8 and thought 9, minus the Brian the camera guy junk and the weird pilot episode involvement for the Dwight spinoff, I thought 9 was an upgrade over 8.

Completed two other re-watches recently. Chuck, (probably like the 4th rewatch at this point) was as great as always but I couldn't bring myself to watch the final three episodes, and Battlestar Galactica, which I had not re-watched since my original viewing. The BG miniseries and most of the first season is still some fantastic science fiction, but seasons 2, 3, and 4, while great at times, really get bogged down with filler episodes and no idea where to take (or finish) the story.

Bunch of horny nerds want to **** Pam for 9 seasons; get mad when peripheral character wants to **** Pam.

Yeah, that seems right.

That's hilarious. We just watched S5E3, and my wife was like, "finally the Morgan bit is ending." And followed it up with saying she wasn't going to watch the last episode because she couldn't take the ending.
Side note: My wife had just give birth to our second child and she asked everybody to leave us alone at the hospital the next night because S5E11 was airing.

I barely paid attention from around the time Jim and Pam got married until the last dozen or so episodes and I think I'll keep it like that.

I'm not going to allow Will Ferrell to stick his fuzzy headed ass into one of my all time favorite shows.

I like the Senator/Oscar/Angela storyline.

Probably my favorite part of Season 9 are the Dwight/Clark stuff and the episodes with Dwight's friends.

Chuck is awesome. My wife and I are almost done with our second run.

People either loved or hated the final episodes. I liked them.

Checked out the first episode of Hanna on Amazon Prime. It's based on the 2011 film with Saoirse Ronan and Cate Blanchett - a girl is taught from birth to become an elite assassin. First episode was very good, the rest will drop in March.

agree, but I think him and Taika wrote, produced and maybe took part in directing some of it. We also get Mark Proksch/K-strass/Nate from the office, so that's a plus
