RENT Live (pre-recorded)
Live

pre-recorded

Which is it?
I haven't watched it yet but apparently the actor who played Roger broke his foot so all of his scenes (which, if you know Rent, is a **** ton) were replaced with a pre-recorded dress rehearsal. The other let down was that the sound quality sucked (shocking) and they actually changed the lyrics to make it more family friendly.

Yup, that's where I closed the tab.

Apparently, it was supposed to be all live, but one of the leads broke his foot during the dress rehearsal that they were recording in case of technical issues. So most of his scenes were replaced with the dress rehearsal footage except for the finale which was live with him in a wheelchair.

I was recording it and cut it off after 15 minutes. The crowd was louder than the singers.

Doesn't theater have understudies for just this occasion?

Sounds like a lot of poor choices were made.

Well it's a live musical on Fox. Poor choices is what they do.

Yeah, well, that's like your opinion man.

Ah, the summer treatment. Probably the last season, sadly.

Nope - SHIELD was actually picked up for both 6 and 7 a while back. I think this one is debuting in the summer because of the extended hiatus after 5.

It is now confirmed that CBS All Access has ordered 10 episodes of The Stand, as a limited event. Josh Boone and Ben Cavell penned the adaptation, and Boone will direct.

Super excited about this. Hope it doesn't fall apart again.

CBS All Access? Too bad I will never see it.

At least it is capped to 10 eps and won't be inherently doomed to fail like they did with Under the Dome.

I justify torrenting shows on CBS All Access because, so far as I know, I have no way of buying the channel even if I wanted too.

And 100% agree with you on the second part.

just started watching The Masked Singer 2 weeks ago. I wasn't really surprised by last week's reveal:
Terry Bradshaw
but I would have NEVER guessed this week's reveal, and I'm a big fan:
Margaret Cho
:o :o :o :o :o :o
Even her co-star didn't know. LOL
I had it down to her or Kathy Griffin.

Figured I was the only one watching this show.

I did not guess this week's reveal (Unicorn) but I know who the Alien is based on clues.

yeah, I thought last week was Kathy Griffin as well.
I didn't figure out the unicorn until the one guy guessed it. I looked at the body type and thought, "yep! dead on!"

I too know who the Alien is. the item they brought out sealed it for me.
Latoya Jackson. Armed and Famous was a TERRIBLE reality show
I'm also guessing the Rabbit is
some kind of magician. Criss Angel, most likely. notice how his costume looks a lot like a straight jacket.

Masked Singer was renewed for a second season.

I prefer watching the reveals on Youtube after the show airs...the show in its entirety is a bit too much for me.

I record it and scan quickly watching mostly the clues and some part of the performance.

I'm close to doing the same. Two episodes in and I'm pretty sure it's not worth the drive space.
