Finished season 3 is Saul.
I think Chuck ends up dead, sooner rather than later. Kim probably lives, but moves far away. It was cool seeing so many of the fringe characters make appearances this year. Makes me want to rewatch BB.
End of Season 3 spoiler
Are you sure you finished Season 3? Pretty sure Chuck is already dead.

I'm wondering if the car crash is some kind of foretelling for Kim. Perhaps it isn't Jimmy that chases her away.

Better Call Saul season 3 snuck onto netflix. I didn't even realize it until I was looking this weekend.
They took their sweet time getting the show on DVD. We have one more episode to go - so far it's been a good season. It's hard for me to not think back (forward?) to Breaking Bad and try to figure out who makes it out and who doesn't.
I just started Season 3. Have they already announced how long Better Call Saul will go season and story-wise?
This may be answered in Season 3, but I am starting to think Chuck and/or Kim Wexler get killed by Tuco or Tio's gang at some point.
I am not sure if they have announced how many seasons they will need to complete the story. I do know they mentioned there may be some cameos from Jessie and/or Walt at some point, but we haven't seen that yet. It appears there may be a little bit of chronological overlap between BCS/BB, but the main focus will be elsewhere at the time.
Obviously we know that neither Kim nor Chuck make it to Breaking Bad fame, but we don't know if they are killed or if they become so far removed from Jimmy/Saul, that they are no longer part of his life. I'm thinking they live, but he really pisses them off. Nacho on the other hand...

Further spoiler on Season 3
It seems obvious they want to tell the story of how Hector Salamanca became handicapped. So far, I haven't seen it
Episode 4 and 5
The scenes with Hector and Fring in the restaraunt was unreal.

Though the episode in the courtroom, that scene at the end when Jimmy does in his brother. My goodness.
It's easy to end up despising Chuck throughout all the episodes, but Jimmy isn't innocent either. The actor who played Chuck has done a phenomenal job playing his character.

He's come a long way from playing Lenny trying to get into Penny Marshall's pants.

ha, just rewatched end. I saw him sitting there staring at lantern and just figured that was how it would end and didn’t pay attention to the last part. Yup, he’s dead.

Jesus Christ Superstar was really good last night on NBC. I haven't been able to make it 20 minutes past any of the recent ones they've done, but they really nailed it (!) last night. Cast was great, commercials were not. I also am a big fan of the original rock opera, so may be partially biased.
Concur. And yeah, I think the original 1970 recording holds its own as one of the best rock albums/operas from that time.
I loved this. The cast was fantastic and I love that a network finally realized that all they need to do for a "live musical" is to just broadcast a production. I'd be all for more of these and less of the Grease/Hairspray style stuff.

According to THR, Amazon’s deal with the Tolkien estate, book publisher HarperCollins, and New Line Cinema grants the streamer a five season commitment – as long as they’re in production within two years. The deal also includes a potential Lord of the Rings spin-off series, following in the footsteps of HBO’s Game of Thrones (the success of which Amazon’s Jeff Bezos desperately wants to emulate here).

The report also says that while a decision hasn’t been made yet, the Amazon show might “use material from the films,” which is why New Line Cinema was brought into the conversation. That’s a fascinating possibility – could that “material” be the New Zealand Hobbiton set that’s been turned into a tourist destination? Or is the Amazon show maybe angling to use the same production designs and costumes, and they reached out to New Line so they don’t get sued?

And speaking of the movies, director Peter Jackson may come on board as an executive producer. Jackson’s attorney “helped start a dialogue between Jackson and Amazon,” and the ball is in the filmmaker’s court as to whether or not he wants to be a part of the show. If Jackson comes on, it wouldn’t be outside the realm of possibility to imagine him directing at least a few episodes of the show.

To be honest, I'd rather New Line and Jackson be far away from this. I loved Jackson's LOTR, especially the extended editions, but everyone knows the Hobbit was a miss. I'm ready for a new Tolkien interpretation.

I'm 100% convinced Kim Wexler gets addicted to pain killers and gets on herion and meth and she dies.

“I do know that Glenn Howerton is coming back for some episodes,” Olson told TheWrap. “I don’t know the specifics, but I do know how he’s being introduced back in, and it is absolutely hilarious.”

And that turns Saul into a guy who helps launder drug money? That’s an interesting theory. Maybe so. I think something definitely happens with her, and that combined with his brother’s actions, turn him into the BB Saul.

I would say that is how he gets involved and why he eventually had to go to Omaha.

I was folding clothes downstairs last night, and caught a random X-Files episode. It was The Post-Modern Prometheus...completely forgot about that episode. That has to be one of the best one-episode monster of the week shows of the entire series. The whole thing is delightfully goofy.

That's great news. I absolutely loved that novel. One of my favorites in quite some time.
