Voltron: Legendary Defender continues to be a massive success. I'm almost finished season 7, and hope it doesn't end anytime soon.

My youngest got me into this. We're on the 3rd season. It's great

It's like a fine wine, and gets better and better with each passing season. I have purposely found other things to do so as to not binge watch the entire season. I'm doing the same with Parks and Rec.

That is a body that just won’t quit. And I bet if you pop those pants off you’re gonna find a bird that just won’t quit either.

I still haven't brought myself to slog through the last 1.5 seasons of SOA. The Vulture review for Mayans M.C. is less than stellar.

I've seen this reaction a lot and I don't really get it. It seems like people are celebrating the fact that a show they hate and don't watch is getting cancelled. I also don't like BBT. I don't watch it. It being on the air has zero effect on me.

I mean, why even have a TV show thread?

In all seriousness, the show may have been bearable if it wasn't for the laugh track. If a show needs to prompt the studio audience and you the viewer when to laugh, why is it on the air?

The first few seasons weren't bad. Haven't watched it in 6 or so years.

I enjoyed the BBT the first few seasons as well. It seemed to have no reason to exist the last couple years... that being said.. people obviously watch it since it does big ratings. It's far from the worst thing on TV these days.

The last season of SOA was not good. It's still one of my favorite shows ever. I would have much rather had a First 9 spinoff, but I'm interested in going back to that world again. I will give it a shot.

The "Good riddance" is what I don't get. I understand not liking the show, but it seems like a lot of the hate for Big Bang comes from the fact that it's popular. I'm not calling you out specifically, but the overwhelming attitude from people who dislike BBT is superiority over those who like it. So they celebrate the ending of the show as if they somehow won something.

The laugh track thing is interesting. I don't particularly mind laugh tracks if the show is good. Nobody ***** about the laugh track on How I Met Your Mother.

I have. That thing was about as fake as those laugh tracks on the Flintstones or Scooby Doo. I'd watch TBBT into its 50th season if it meant never having to sit thru another episdose of HIMYM

These videos are funny and all but they're also misleading. Removing the laugh track messes up the timing which obviously creates awkward silence. The show is written and performed knowing the laugh track is there so simply removing the laugh track and replacing it with ambient noise doesn't accurately portray what the show would be like if it didn't have a laugh track.

I had no idea when I woke up this morning that I'd be defending Big Bang Theory on the internet...

Season 1-5 of HIMYM are great. Loses steam after that, IMO.
