Well, I'm only midway through season 2 and the latest bit of surprise was ... um, the whale thing.

Every episode I thought I knew what to expect, and once again, it threw me for a loop. Ridiculous show that I wasn't sure if it was a comedy or a thriller at points.just finished The Rehearsal. Nathan Fielder is great. It’s such an insane, off the wall type of show but it’s wonderfully entertaining and hilarious.

started season 2 of Picard last night. I spent most of the episode bored as Hell and trying not to nod off. I was just about to tell my SO that she could watch it on her own (she's the Trekkie not me) when they set up the rest of the season. time travel/alternate universe? I'm in.

It's a polarizing season. I enjoyed parts of it, while others didn't like any of it.

Rewatching Stargate SG1 and Atlantis. This is still some of the best sci-fi ever created.
Season 1 of SG1 is a bit rough but man they really start hitting their stride after. It’s very re-watchable and then the show runners really weaved things in well with the addition of Atlantis and the movies.
If you’ve never watched and enjoy sci-fi I highly suggest you get started.

fact. I am not a big Sci-Fi fan but SG-1 is a favorite. it's a crime that this show isn't the Law & Order of SyFy.Rewatching Stargate SG1 and Atlantis. This is still some of the best sci-fi ever created.

Sprung, on Freevee is surprisingly good. The premise is it's a group of prisoners that get let out early when COVID hit. Good casting and a lot of funny jabs at the early pandemic stuff we went through. It was shot in Pittsburgh; the neighborhood used for exteriors is Coraopolis. The prison they shot at is SCI Greensburg.

I'll watch this, looks good.
Except, and I love Luis Guzmán, but, as Gomez Addams? No.

Yeah I picture Raul Julia when I think of Gomez but apparently this series is based more off the original comic strip.
I can see that.
I can see that.

I felt a bit underwhelmed by it. This season I was way more into the mystery part of the show (instead of just enjoying the characters), and I felt the finale was a bit.......... they even joke about it, it's like the end of a Scooby-Doo episode. Stuff felt too foreshadowy, and the opening narration and catch-up montage sort of spoiled the twist.Only Murders had a solid finale
The post-solve denouement was really good, though. And seeing Paul Rudd in this universe next season will be a hoot. So all was not a loss.

Hello, MiMH.
I’m sorry, I refuse to watch something on a service called “Freevee”. It sounds like an STD

Haha, I'm the total opposite -- I enjoy it for the characters and the comedy, and am not super interested in the mystery aspect. I just see it as necessary fodder for the characters to do their thing.I felt a bit underwhelmed by it. And agreed, I was kinda ambivalent towards another season, but the prospect of (a kinda dadhole) Paul Rudd mixing it up with everyone is an excellent sell.

This is largely my stance as well. I want the mystery to not be ridiculous, but I'm here for the shenanigans.Haha, I'm the total opposite -- I enjoy it for the characters and the comedy, and am not super interested in the mystery aspect. Same here. I also was not too impressed with the finale. It was good, not great. I think one more season is probably enough. I also still hate Selena Gomez’s voice.

The Umbrella Academy was renewed for a fourth and final season. Glad that happened so that they can close things out.

The Orville is really good. They tackled some relevant issues in the last season that may not appeal to some, but it was all really well done.

Really enjoyed Only Murders finale, but like film & DD it's more about the hijinks than the mystery for me.
