I loved that show until the end. Was expecting so much more...apparently they found out they had to wrap up the show quickly.

I did not, I'm not sure what this cbs access thing is. More reading about it and I guess there are some pretty questionable choices about starting the show in the middle and using flashbacks, but I think that was so it wasn't so similar to the other series...

Finished Ted Lasso. What a great show. Think I may want to go back and rewatch Scrubs after this.

I like the Tom Hanks WWII Navy film on there - Grayhound. That was good.

I'm 5 episodes into Big Little Lies. It's a passable show, but the editing drives me crazy. It's like the took those pointless vignettes in This is Us times and said, "Let's dial this up to 11."

Yep, I strongly disliked both of these shows. I watched up to the finale of big little lies and it felt like I watched the same episode over and over. Couldn't make it through 1 episode of this is us.

It took us forever to get through Big Little Lies and we bailed after the first episode of the second season. The attractiveness of the main crew is really the only appeal.

Watched the first episode of queens gambit on Netflix and it was excellent. Looking forward to this series based off one episode.

We watched the first episode last night. Hopefully it continues to be this good.

Recently finished it. I liked it a good bit, thought it was pretty good, but expected just a bit more. The people that recommended it were hyping it out the whazoo though, so maybe that negatively impacted my expectations.

I was shocked to find the excellent song from episode 6, "I Can't Remember Love," was actually an original song written for the mini-series (and not something from like, 60 years ago). That's quite uncommon, no? I wonder if down the line there will eventually be a best original song category for the Emmy's like there are the Oscars.

Also,

It was actually a bit of a surprise the ending was so tidy, I was expecting things a bit messier and unresolved, as it were.

I can't believe Season 4 ended with an Old Hormone Monster musical number. What the ****.

Yeah. Season 4 was probably the worst of the bunch so far. Still funny but it lost something this year.

Trying to watch Barry. The excessive delusionalness of the bad actors in the class is annoying and difficult to keep watching. Especially the female lead. I really just want someone to take a shot at Barry, miss, and hit her so that that character is not on screen anymore.
