I have not and never out it together that it's on there. Is this the one that's definitely not for kids? I heard the new harley movie on there was actually pretty good too

Yeah, the cartoon is definitely not for kids. I'd give it a shot. It's different.

Apple TV sucks. It wouldn't load on my newer Roku ultra or Android TV. It would load on my old roku 2 for some reason. I hate apple stuff. With that said, I started watching Ted Lasso and I could probably watch the entire series in one sitting if it didn't get so late. Terrific show!

Just got around to The Punisher on Netflix. I didn’t know a ton about him before this. It’s... okay. I like it but it seems to have weird pacing. I also don’t like the Batman voice Castle uses when fighting.

Yep, it's awful. Apple should know better, and I haven't seen any improvements in the year we've had it (for free, with a new phone from Verizon last Christmas).

Ted Lasso is great, and the second season starts filming next month and it's already been renewed for a third season!

Over the weekend I binged City on a Hill. Anyone else watch it? Seems to be pretty under the radar online.

It took me a couple episodes to get invested and figure out who everyone was) but then it got pretty darn good. Not great, but a solid, mid tier drama.

I watched a few episodes of it, and it was OK. I think the bad Boston accents threw me. Like the one Iranian character has an absurd Southie accent, despite being a recent immigrant. That chafed me a good bit.

Might go back and check it out later this winter though, and it looks like a second season is on the way. I hate getting invested in shows that get canceled after one season.

Started The Queen’s Gambit last night. Thought the first episode had some weird pacing, but once it got going it was pretty awesome. It makes me want to actually know what I’m doing when playing chess.

That's actually explained (somewhat) later on.

After the first 3 episodes I could have stopped watching. By the season 1 finale, I was sad it was over. I look forward to season 2, just hope it isn't a 2+ year wait and I forget who everyone was.

The character was better in Daredevil.

In the Punisher series they went with a lot of "story"... but this is the Punisher, not Daredevil, not Jessica Jones. They had a semi-winning formula with most of their Marvel shows so they tried to fit the Punisher into it, but he doesn't fit that mold. The show wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as it could have been.

It was nice for them to spotlight PTSD and bring attention to the fact that it is still very real.

Did you watch Foyle's War? Very lowkey British detective show...set during WWII (and the early Cold War period).

We finished our rewatch of Breaking Bad and our first watch of El Camino. Breaking Bad is perfect. I cannot think of one episode that felt subpar or unnecessary. Maybe "Fly" but even that furthered the characters/story. The final season is a masterpiece.

El Camino was fine but wasn't needed at all. Also watching it back to back with the series really amplified how much the actors have changed with time. Some have changed a little too much physically. Looking at you, Jesse Plemons.

Have you watched Better Call Saul? I'm considering doing a rewatch as well, but waiting until BCS is done.

Yeah. It started off pretty slow but the last few seasons have been really good. It hasn't reach the heights of Breaking Bad for me yet, but it's not that far behind.

Oh, I don't think BCS will ever reach BB levels. That show was off the charts good. Not to put BCS down, but it cannot be BB good. Bryan Cranston alone being one of the main reasons why.

Just finished this. I liked the Pilgrim character. A couple big things for me. You’re telling me The Punisher doesn’t punish a child pornographer? Also, we get to a part where he’s going to absolutely Punish criminals outside the revenge plot and... series over. I liked it, wouldn’t watch again, but was worth watching once.

‘Superstore’ Bo & Cheyenne Spinoff Starring Johnny Pemberton & Nichole Sakura In Works At NBC

There’s no chance that Bo can carry a show, so I don’t see this lasting more than a single season.
