Come to think of it, that was a really weird episode where a house fire killed Anne and Chris...

That was the best episode of the season. Couldn't stop laughing but I enjoy dark humor.

Was the mayor always
Bill Murray?
Or was that a one-off appearance/cameo?

one-off from what I remember. Mayor mentioned in the past, but that was the first they showed him

From what I can remember, Mayor Gunderson was referenced a few times but never actually shown until that episode.

Ah, cool. I wasn't sure if that was a callback or not.

Behind the Scenes edit
For the funeral scene in the third season finale "Li'l Sebastian", Michael Schur said the writing staff considered killing off Mayor Gunderson, but they instead went with miniature horse Li'l Sebastian because it was decided having an animal die would be more appropriate and less morbid. Amy Poehler has stated she would love Bill Murray to play Mayor Gunderson and, during an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, jokingly announced she would pay him $250 if he played the role.

Murray eventually played the role in Season 7.

It was the first episode of the new season that I thought was at the level that they left off on the previous season.

We started watching A Million Little Things, purely because James Roday was in it. The pilot episode was very solid.

Concur. Looks like it will devolve into a regular soap opera drama soon, but the pilot was good.

The new season of Last Man Standing is weird without Molly Ephraim. They replaced her with, no kidding, another actress named Molly who just doesn't work in the role. It's like the replacement is playing Molly Ephraim playing Mandy Baxter. The mannerisms are over the top and out of place, like a caricature. I know it's a dumb sitcom and all but it's distractedly bad.

I liked this show until the first big swap out of characters, can't imagine how bad it is 2nd time around

Oh man. I just read the description of tomorrow's South Park episode.
A very special relationship has developed between Butters and the Parish Priest in an all-new episode titled “A Boy and a Priest” on Wednesday, October 3 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Comedy Central.
They're really putting it all out there this season.

Did anyone here watch American vandal? Pretty funny premise and there were some really, really funny moments, but it probably was 1 or 2 episodes too long.
well I posted this in November 2017 and no one responded. so I will ask if anyone watched season 2

I watched the trailer for S2. The two minutes or so that took probably gave away 90% of the series so I'm checking it off as complete for me.

Finally have a reason to log back into the Amazon Prime video app. Man in the High Castle season 3 drops this Friday the 5th and Patriot season 2 releases on Nov 9th.

It's weird how unpopular Patriot is. The first season was really great.
