Multiple sources say Ruby Rose was unhappy with the long hours of shooting that came with being the star of Batwoman, so she exited the show
 That show was trash.

Imagine working for a month straight doing 12-16 hour days and the end product is **** Batwoman on the CW.

Just judging from Twitter, it seems like the only people that *really* like that show are the more vocal/hardcore LBGTQIA (etc etc) people because that show seems to push that representation pretty hard.

Got very excited to see Avatar the last airbender on Netflix, hoping it was the original series from Nickelodeon... IT IS!

It originally came out in my college years and I freaking loved that show. I plan to watch it again soon.

Some Good News has been outstanding. I have no idea if there will be more episodes past the current 8, given the description of the latest, but I sure as hell hope there are.
Welp. This feels skeezy but good for him I guess? The fact that it’s going to be on All Access behind a paywall makes it way worse.

Looks like it won’t be All Access, just regular old CBS and CBS News. Sounds like CBS is responding to the backlash more than anything else.

I was going to post about this today, actually. I'm glad that it will be on normal CBS, because I was pretty annoyed that the consensus was originally All Access. That said, I wonder if part of the deal was having CBS not pursue others for doing their own spin on SGN? That was a big part of the fun, IMO.

Eh it makes the whole thing feel totally disingenuous now. While the audience was sending in stories, videos, original content to John, he was fielding offers from major corporations. Obviously sponsors have been a big part from MLB to AT&T but those were done in a charitable way. There’s nothing charitable about selling this to Viacom.

My wife and I just finished watching the fourth episode and we were talking about how nice it was for him to take the time to do this. This does feel pretty damn lousy.

Almost finished with The Boys on Prime Video. Really enjoying it, and the cast is great. Karl Urban is outstanding in this. Once upon a time, I was worried he would never make it out of Lord of the Rings type-casting.

The Boys season two has to be around the corner, no? I binged the entire season one in a single day when I was home sick last year.

Watched first 2 episodes of space Force and I liked it. I'm glad they pretty much made everyone dumb but it's taken so serious. I kinda think it's genius what they did with it.

Space Force is getting horrendous reviews - but I probably will check it out eventually.

Finally got around to watching Narcos:Mexico season 2. No “new episodes” flag on it inside of Netflix, and I don’t recall it being “pushed” to me even though I’d watched the previous season, and all of the original Narcos series (which was superior). When they don’t promote their own shows heavily - and this season dropped back in February - that’s not a good sign. My guess is there won’t be a Narcos season 3, even though it sets that up at the end of season 2.

I thought it was pretty good. As it’s been a couple of years, I’d forgotten some of the characters and plot points, so it took a while to get back into it. Scoot McNairy takes over as a composite character, and he’s always good. Diego Luna is excellent as well. Sosie Bacon - daughter of Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgewick - plays a real gringa girlfriend of one of the narcos. Her real story is pretty fascinating as well.

I enjoyed Narcos: Mexico Season 2 more than Season 1.

I love Scoot. I might be ready for a HACF rewatch already. His small role in Fargo was good too.

I'm really hoping were dealing with a parks and rec season 1 type of thing here even though I don't have an issue with what I've seen so far. It's certainly not the best show on TV, but I get a chuckle out of it

Moon landing: Narcos on Netflix

Yes I’m WAY late to this but I’m enjoying the show. It’s certainly not the greatest but there does seem to be a couple standout actors and I learned more about Escobar’s political interests that didn’t happen.
