First episode of The Mandalorian was pretty good. I’m a very casual Star Wars fan, and even with me knowing next to nothing about anything going on, I enjoyed it.

Watchmen was great last night. This show is nothing like I expected it to be.
:thumb: What a display of cinematography. That episode deserves an award.
It deserves all the awards.

Do the celebrities and musicians ride the entire parade route or do they just hop on right before the stage area?

That is a great question. Guessing it's the latter

I'm 3 episodes into Watchmen, and I've got a similar complaint to a lot of shows these days - the scenes are too god damn dark.

Really? I’ve had no issues with darkness in this show. Certainly nothing like GOT.

I was watching in the middle of the day in a bright room, but it was definitely more noticeable than the other shows I watch. I’ve never seen a single GoT episode, so I can’t compare.

In other news, The Mandalorian alone would drive me to buy Disney+ if I couldn’t find torrents of the episodes.

@eddysnake @nocera: Circling back, I switched torrent clients to qBittorent 4.1.9.1 (freeware), and am seeing almost double throughput compared to uTorrent Pro 3.5.5. I tested the same magnet links, so I'm staying with qBittorent from here on out. The only reason I even gave the new client a try is because I've noticed some random freezing in uTorrent on Win10 1909. Haven't seen that issue in the new client.

The Crown Season 3 through 9 episodes
Good season. Of course, it's an all new cast (minus Lithgow as Churchill briefly).
No issues with the recasting; Olivia Colman is excellent as the Queen, Tobias Menzies as Philip took some warming up to. Charles Dance is fantastic as Lord Mountbatten. Prince Charles is well portrayed too.

The storylines aren't as captivating as earlier seasons - a horrible Welsh mining accident; Charles' investiture as Prince of Wales (and he had to learn a speech in Welsh - ridiculously difficult language to learn); Camilla Parker-Bowles is introduced and so on.

Season four has been filming for a while and things should get interesting, as we head into the 80s with Charles and Diana and Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson!) and the Falklands.

Rudolph the Rednose Reindeer is amazing.

It's unreal they still allow this on tv. 😂

Every line is trigger time for outrage culture.

It's just another story that I never would have read about had a tweet about it not been posted on 5AF.

Incredible episode of Watchmen last night. Just a masterful display of non-linear storytelling.

For it being one of the final three episodes, last night's Robot seemed to have a bunch of Dom/Darlene filler.

But it could also be that episode was leading up to
something happening to the flight. Irving - who happened to be at the airport in the same wing promoting his book, said that Dark Army didn't care about Dom or her family anymore - was there to make sure they were getting on the plane
Also wondering if we get another Leon appearance, although it sounded like he was kinda disappearing after leaving the airport.

Man in the High Castle. Just watched Season 3 Episode 1 over the weekend so please no spoilers beyond that but I have questions
I thought some of these weird scenes were either flash forwards, or like the Trade Minister being able to meditate himself to his ideal world with his family, etc. But are they telling the stories of a multiverse? In S3:E1 Trudy tells her sister in her world the nazi's killed her dad so it's okay that Julianna killed him in her world. I'm not really sure I want a post World War II Stranger Things.

Well, that's what it is. A multiverse. 😂

What was wrong with it?

I thought the twist was well done and it wrapped up concisely. Except I didn’t understand much of the network stuff they were taking about.

I was thinking the same thing about them sabotaging the flight, but I think if it was going to happen it would have before the episode ended. Could still happen though
