We only made it 4 episodes into the first season of Mindhunter. I was super bored. I know this is not a popular opinion. I'll give it another shot at some point.
Watching the first 4ep of S2 last night i kept trying to figure out why it was so good. Im not surprised some would be bored. It's so unassuming. I guess the pacing and acting and writing are just good enough to really drive my intrigue

I couldn't remember why i loved season 1 so much or why i was excited for season 2. But then i stayed up way too late 1 more-ing it last night
It's mostly just great acting. No explosions or car chases, so if people are into those things, they may not like it.

For me, Cameron Britton, who plays Edmund is amazing and worth me tuning in.

I hear Bill Tenchs voice as he answers these. Some spoilers through first 3 episodes of S2 (mindhunter)

Finished up the first season of Great British Bake Off and getting close to the latest season finale (both on Netflix). I quite enjoy this show, everyone is super friendly and happy. I'm going to attempt to make a Swedish Princes Cake. It really is a feel good show and plays great after watching Mindhunter.

That show got my wife through the first 3 or 4 months after having our kid. She probably had a touch of PPD, but the show gave her an escape. Something she could watch where people were, like you said, friendly and happy. No drama, no yelling, just baking and having fun.

Finished up The Boys. So much more than I expected it to be. Eight episodes was way too short but from the looks of it they’re already pretty far advanced in filming season 2 so hopefully there will be a quick turnaround.

Started Mindhunter today as well. This show is fantastic. It’s definitely a slow burn, but it’s interesting as hell and the performances are excellent. The dude playing Ed Kemper is unsettling.

There were rumors of a movie being filmed last year, but Aaron Paul said they'd finished filling by the time the rumors surfaced.

How the hell did they do that? In this day and age? I guess they filmed under the guise of Better Call Saul?

I’m all in on succession. Characters are all unlikeable in very watchable ways now.

Also just got back from a crazy long road trip where we listened to 11.22.63 for most of the way. I then wanted to see the show, watched about 15 minutes and started to throw up in my mouth. What a piece of crap.

Yeah, I loved the book but the show was a huge letdown. The guy who played Oswald was good though.
