I don't know what made me think of this today, but I think I'm going to re-watch the entire Airwolf series. I loved that show as a kid, and the theme song was catchy as hell.

With you on the music. But I very vividly remember an episode where they assert the helicopter is capable of Mach 2, and even as a youngling that was a bridge too far for me.

Reminds me of the time we were doing an exercise for a Marine command center and we had a CH-53 at 40k. One of the participants quipped it was remarkable to still be flying with an incapacitated crew.

While ya'll were watching the Steelers go flacid in the second half, I watched Manifest. Not too bad, curious how I'm going to want to watch more than 4 or 6 episodes though. Seems like it'll be way off the reservation before Christmas. My wife on the other hand was totally sucked in.

I think it was a mislabeled airframe. The track was probably supposed to be an EA6-B.

I can't be the only one who looks at this Dancing With the Stars junior thing and cringe at its inappropriateness.

Strictly speaking that's even too high for a Prowler, altho not in the comedy sense of the Sea Stallion. Although you might have direct experience with them operating a bit above their rated service ceiling.

They're such high priority assets that when we'd launch them in country they would immediately be taken by the Air Force and retasked to higher priority missions. I think I've only ever been on crew with them in our AO like twice in the almost three years I spent over there.

Parks and Rec finale just kind of rolls over and dies, huh? The final season was promising and then the Johnny Karate episode comes along and everything there and after is a bunch of meh fan service.

Nah. They ended it well. They easily could have stretched it 4 or 5 more seasons, but they did it the right way imo. I love those last couple episodes.

I like how they ended the penultimate season and the transition they made. Just wasn't enough there to get a full quality season out of it, to me. Glad I went back and finished it though. I stopped watching in S3 or so, but went back and finished this year.

I’m sure there are a minority out there that agree with you, but this strikes me as a patented dodint hot take.

Matt and Trey going after their self started #cancelSouthPark by featuring school shootings in the season premiere.

I'm still in season 6 of Parks and Rec. Trying very hard to pace myself.

just got through the Johnny Karate episode. I forgot how consistently funny this show is. Did it end because nobody was watching?

I think it spiraled down when they lost Rashida Jones and Rob Lowe. It's strength was the ensemble.

the beauty about this show is when someone leaves or takes a hiatus, they find a way to fill it in with another incredible character. See Mona Lisa Saperstein
