So the contention of this group is that being an idiot absolves you from reprehensible behavior.

And if this is a serious-ish discussion (I’m not sure it is) then exposing himself to Pam and the way he treated Toby alone are enough to swing him over into the “not good person” category.

Yeah, it's not like he stood outside of Pam's window in a trench coat and flashed her.

And again, Toby is the worst.

I think something that you’re forgetting is that it’s a TV show created to make people laugh and not actually a PBS documentary about working in an office.

Or maybe it is a PBS documentary about working in an office and the rest of us are wrong.

If there is one thing that I have learned through this whole experience, it’s that if you film anybody long enough, they’re going to do something stupid. It’s only human natural.

what are we talking about here, dude? tv characters don't have personality traits now because it's fiction? good people and bad people exist in every show. i legit have no clue where you're going with this.

The entire Monty Python catalog is coming to Netflix in April. Every episode of Flying Circus, and all theatrical films.

The last time I was this excited about a Netflix announcement was when Good Eats made the jump.

Michael Scott and David Brent were both grade A narcissistic turd muffins. The difference was that they made an effort to sprinkle in the odd compassionate moment for Scott - like a couple times a season - so the audience never truly hated him. But make no mistake, his default setting was 'arsehole'.

This is going to be the popular opinion eventually. But take your time catching up, Dickie.

I think it's a blast, there are definitely moments where ideas are bigger than execution, but I had a lot of fun with it.

Why did no one tell me about The Great British Baking Show on Netflix? Watched a few episodes last night and I love it. Found my new binge.
