I think I’m going to do the 30 day trial for no-commercial Hulu over the holiday/semester break, and then try to get a 30 day extension at the end of it. I should be able to knock it out in two months, no? I love 22 minute TV shows.

It’s only ten 22 min episodes. You could knock that out in a weekend.

I don’t know if you’re a student or not, but apparently there is a pretty sweet student deal for Hulu/Spotify. Pretty sure it’s $5/month for both. Makes me wish I still had my college email.

Just started Westworld on HBO. 3 episodes in. It's...kinda disturbing...in a good way. I'm pretty much hooked.

Yeah, Westworld is great. I think season two comes in 2018.

Jessica Jones season two is in March, btw

I've been falling asleep to Sunny for months. Last night, I tried to make the switch to Hulu. 10 second FX bump, 30 second commercial before the start. Cold open then opening credits. Then another 90 second commercial break. **** Hulu.

Yeah, I have a real issue with paying a subscription fee...and still having commercials. That...really sucks.

Also, the Crown season two came out on Friday. We’ve had cold, dreary, rainy weather (until this morning), so it made for good binging. Haven’t finished it yet, because kids n’at, but halfway through it’s really well done. High production values and excellent cast. Claire Foy is really good as QE.

Halt and Catch Fire's final season was really excellent. Well done finale. Such a great show.
Huge spoiler:
Gordon's death scene was so well done.
I envision that's what death is like.
It pisses me off that more people didn't watch the show or get the accolades it deserved.
Oh, that scene, exceptional. My feels.

Not sure if you're a Fargo fan so I'll spoiler this:
Scoot McNairy has a short arc at the beginning of Fargo season 3. I was saddened by Gordon's death in HACF so I decided to watch the first epiosde of Fargo S3 which we haven't seen. Turns out he gets killed at the end of that episode too. Bad day for Scoot in our household.

I'm still on S2 of Daredevil, but I decided to give Punisher a shot. 2 episodes in and it's pretty good. I don't know if I'm missing something not watching anything that came before, but I think I'll like it. 1 minor thing that bothers me is the flashbacks with his wifes face up close looking at him as she makes a lot of annoying scrunchy faces.

You can easily watch The Punisher without having seen his appearances in Daredevil. You're missing out on some background information, but it's not bad at all.

AvED season 3 starts in late February.

I catch it on Netflix. Love the show - haven't seen the new season yet but just read the spoiler and not a surprise. I think Lee Pace knocked that show performance out of the park.

Don't watch unless you've finished The Punisher season 1, as it contains spoilers.

The first season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel was fantastic. Rachel Brosnahan‘s Golden Globes nomination is well deserved.

It’s from the same people that did Gilmore Girls. Late 50s uppity NYC Jewish families. Husband leaves wife, wife turns to stand up comedy to vent her anger and frustration. It doesn’t seem like a whole lot on paper, but the writing and performances make it pretty great. Tony Shalhoub and Kevin Pollak are greats as the two fathers, ws is Alex Borstein as her mentor.
