I wasn't a fan of that iteration of Dr Who.

I want to like taboo...but it's just meh. Also, the audio levels are ****
is this getting any better?
I enjoy it for the setting and Tom Hardy doing his weird accent thing. The story is meh at times but Hardy carrries it.
I'm into it after 2 episodes. I could listen to Tom Hardy to voices and sounds all day.

In channel related news, NBC/Universal's CLOO network went dark at 6am this morning.

It was good for MacGyver, House, CSI, NCIS:LA, and other such shows on reruns, sometimes in day-long blocks.

It also didn't go to informercial in the overnight. Or George Lopez. (You know, the things that would wake you up in the wee hours of the morning).

On the first episode of taboo now. I like the setup of the plot so far. I basically was only interested in the setting heading in and onew nothing else. Im excited to see what happens.

My wife is a huge Gilmore Girls fan, and therefore a Milo V fan. She just started This Is Us since she's laying in bed sick and threw the controller at the end of the second Episode, lol. Not sure she'll make it to the third.

Watching Travelers on Netflix. It's a pretty good time travel show.

If you like twists and obvious emotional manipulation, it's a good show. If you hate that, then... might not even want to start episode one.

I <3 Milo. Seriously why I started watching it

This was when I checked on her at lunch...by the time my work day was over she'd finished another three so I suppose she couldn't stay away.

He just draws you in (minus the horrible mustache) and so does the show.

It's a long way to Halloween. That's the problem with binging on shows, watch a whole season in a few days, wait a year plus for the next season.

I enjoyed Goliath. Really well-written for another lawyer show.

A guest last week logged us in to his HBO GO account. The movies are meh, but I burned through Silicon Valley, there are not enough episodes of that show. It's funny how Ulrich can go from being unbearable to watch, to delivering the best parts.

Yeah, that's a great show.

My parents canceled their HBO subscription, which I used much more then they did.

I'm very sad about this, tbh. My 40 year old brother and I will need to get our own HBO Now accounts.

Anyone get through the whole ep of the new 24 last night? It started so late we didn't. And there's another hour on tonight.

Still not sure how I feel about that environment and no Jack Bauer.

Eh. I'll check it out. Still haven't finished Luke Cage. I'm still excited for The Defenders, but the mediocrity of Luke Cage and the meh-ness of this has caused the entire thing to lose a bit of it's luster. At this point I just want more Daredevil and The Punisher.

Yeah, I'll watch it, but I'm not blown away by that trailer or the character, for that matter.

Besides Daredevil, I'm fine with all these other characters appearing the Defenders show and losing their own deal. I got about halfway through J. Jones and that's about all I can take. I do like Iron Fist and hope this is great, but that trailer didn't sell me. Also, I liked the bad guy from J. Jones best, no idea if he made it through that show or not, but he was a quality villain.

He did not.
I liked Jessica Jones and Luke Cage better when they were paired together. Have no need for them to be separated. The Punisher was always my favorite Marvel character, but I guess time will tell if he can carry his own series or is better off popping up as an occasional menace in the MCU.

I don't always catch Jane the Virgin when my wife watches it, but I've seen it enough to like the show, like the characters, and know what is going on. We watched Monday's episode last night. Jesus Christ. The depression might last the rest of the week.

BBC had a two part miniseries out a few years ago based on William Boyd's novel Restless. Great novel, and the miniseries was very well done. As a bonus, it stars two of my favorite British actresses - Michelle Dockery and Hayley Atwell.

Schitt's Creek is pretty great, but I hate Chris Elliot and he ruins the whole show for me.
