Finished Ozark tonight. Both the wife and I enjoyed it. Thought the ending worked and overall it was a well written enjoyable show to watch.

Four seasons was just right for the length as well.

Variety is reporting a Jon Snow spinoff series is in development with Kit Harington attached. Life beyond the wall might be interesting.

Well, I finished The Wire after reading all of your recommendations. Great show. That last season was brutal though.

Spoiler 2 is probably the saddest part of the show for me.

Peaky Blinders finale was just ok.
I'm only 4 eps in, but good lord it's more like
Peaky Sadsacks.
Not at all what I expected.
Did you finish it?

@blackjack68 - I did. Ep 6 made up for a lot of the middling of the rest of the season. I was dissatisfied that the last possible person to eat a bullet didn't, but whatever. Looking forward to the film next year.

Also:
Duke? WTF with that character. And to immediately give him the "By Order Of.." line...was kinda lame.
And, Finn, we hardly knew ye. So bizarre you barely see him til Ep6, and then to have his story 'resolved' like that? I don't know. I guess that'll be part of the movie?
The whole scene with Arthur at the Garrison was terrific. Vintage PB and so well shot.
The lack of Red Right Hand the entire season just felt off to me.
Not my favorite season, but not terrible. Hopefully the movie does the series justice.

Finished up the 2 seasons of Girls5Eva on peacock. Like most comedies, the second season was stronger. The final episode of S2 felt like vintage 30 Rock, though the rest of the show doesn't quite have the same manic jokes-per-minute ratio that 30 Rock did. Still, it goes down quite easy if you're looking to add something of that ilk to your viewing queue.

I almost forgot that The Orville came back on. First two episodes are great.

One thing I never considered that I read recently was that the kids Wallace took care of weren’t his brothers and sisters. They were just kids without parents/a home.

My wife wanted me to pick something random on netflix last night. One of the trending things was this documentary called "Our Father".

All I can say is wtf. Captivating 90 minutes, but the doctor guy
who was inseminating people with his own sperm instead of actual donors
...just no words. The whole things was just one big wtf.

That entire thing was a complete WTF. I just thought it couldn't get any worse, and then it kept getting worse.

I really can't get into Barry season 3. I remembered very little about the previous two seasons, but when I have trouble focusing on 27 minute episodes (that after recaps and credits are closer to 23-4 minutes) that's not good.

However, I discovered a really good 30 minute show - The Bear - on FX/Hulu. The entire season came out Thursday. It's about a highly regarded chef that goes back to run his family's Chicago beef sandwich shop after his brother commits suicide. Maybe it's my food service background or years of work in a family bakery that has me hooked, but it's really good. Only a few familiar faces are in it, and they are cameos. Lots of food porn, too.

Barbie life in the dream house on Netflix is very funny. This new Barbie movie is going to be great if they keep that same humor (which it appears they are).

Se 2, Ep 1 and 2 of Only Murders In The Building down. "Or a tiny little bit of his balls..."

The show is so fun, but the concept already feels a bit long in the tooth; without even getting to the midpoint of Se2 I find myself already hoping there isn't a Se3. It's not that anything has been bad so far, it's just.......... you can only do so much with the conceit of the show before you get to be like 'if everybody just moved out of The Arconia, problem solved.'

Cara Delevingne and Shirley MacLaine have been excellent additions imo.
The twist with MacLaine that they are setting up is almost too obvious, so I sorta hope that's not where it goes. Bunny's mom - Leonora Folger - is the missing artist, Rose Cooper. How many women was Charles' father having affairs with? Which of them is his real mom? Eh, please don't.

Got a month of prime to watch spiderman and it wasn't free like my dumbass assumed so figured I'd catch up on the last 2 seasons of the expanse but couldn't stop rewatching House but now can't stop rewatching Workaholics. Such a delightful show
