So not only does The Fan hosts do product plugs, apparently they have their interview guests do them too. Brian Billick was on the morning show and Pittsburgh Dad Jr. asked a leading question about some men’s health thing called Roman (?) and Billick talked about it. Stupid

Did something happen to Mark Madden? He has been twitter silent and DK has been filling in on the radio for him.

I thought he was in Vegas again but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I like DK on the radio, mostly because his hot takes are good for it.

DK got in a fight with the Pgh media yesterday saying they stole his breaking news Coonley was gone.

He's arguing with Tim Williams now. Or Tim Williams is arguing with himself because he's blocked by DK. Imagine willingly handing your money over to these idiots.

As has been the case for a good part of the decade, DK is the absolute worst media figure in this town. Constantly in the middle of stories and dustups and inane "controversies" that are little more than the result of him being a complete clown and being intensely disliked by most everyone who has to deal with him. Every single one of these instances inevitably leads to him posting some self-pitying statement and the claim that AKTUALLY DK IS THE VICTIM HERE EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG.

lol I hate all these people. Sidebar I just remembered a few months back I noticed I was blocked by Kraigers. No idea if I've ever interacted with him even one time.

DK was crying on Twitter on Monday or Tuesday saying they talk about his work, but are not allowed to mention his site on the FAN. It is a company policy to not mention DK Pittsburgh Sports at all on the show.

Paul Zeise and a few others mentioned that they talk about his site on the show when they are mentioning his stories, or referring to them, there is no corporate mandate to never mention the site, and listeners chimed in with numerous examples of his site being mentioned by the FAN hosts.

DK still didn't believe it and said Corporate has banned his site ever being mentioned on the FAN.

I wish I had the time to do another Pittsburgh Media Wars Game. So much material lately.

I think only Pittsburgh Dad Jr. and Mueller don’t like DK and won’t mention his site on their shows. Maybe Poni too. I remember hearing Mueller go off on a rant or throw jabs in against DK before.

This is completely anecdotal, but aside from the occasional drama between the two major sports stations down here (94.1 WIP and 97.5 The Fanatic), it is *nothing* like that.

These dudes all have to work the same events and see each other pretty frequently. You would think they would at least try to get along like normal humans

Professional attention whore is a tough gig. Probably fun at first, but staying 'on' indefinitely? No wonder they're all a bunch of ass clowns.

I asked my friend in Cincy if they have these problems. He said no, but qualified it with the fact they only have two major sports teams. Enough so that MLS actually gets coverage. Makes you almost appreciate what we have here. Almost.

An interesting note from that conversation. I asked about Cincinnati and the importance of college football to the city. He said the growth is stifled because they play in a too-small on campus football stadium. I laughed, in the context of all the Pitt talk.

It might all be an act, who knows. Pittsburgh Dad Jr. and MM took a selfie together at a WWE show but they go after each other on Twitter. Who knows.

But I doubt DK and his former minions get along when he sees them at the same events.

Yeah if this was all an act, I dont think theres any way Pittsburgh Dad Jr. wouldn't have told him he's crossed a line and knock it off a long time ago.
