By the way there was an epic Twitter feud between Paul Zeise and John Steigerwald over the discombobulated deer kill in Mount Lebanon. (PZ for it, JS against it).
What does John Steigerwald do for a living these days?
Writes a column for the Washington Observer, does a podcast.

Runs a business where he will yell at the kids on your lawn.

This could just as easily fall into the IPP....er' GMG thread, but our threads are like your plants, you gotta talk to em once in a while to make them grow.

Theres a commercial Josh Miller does in the mornings for Oreo(s) Now from the way he goes about pronouncing it I understand the brand name is "Oreo" and he was probably told to say things this way, but it drives me nuts because he doesn't seem to want to pluralize or singularize the cookie.

(paraphrasing)

"Hi this is Josh Miller and theres nothing I loved more growing up then Oreo. Pulling up a chair to the kitchen table with a big glass of milk and Oreo was always a favorite of mine. So stop by your grocery store today and grab a pack of Oreo today"

A simple "an" before or "s" after and this all goes away

The pack is Oreo, the content is Oreos, and yes I agree that it's stupid.

Stiegerwald and Zeiss fighting again last night.

Zeise said nd Kentucky game was great and old man said it sucked because UK guard shuffled his foot on drive to hoop at end and should have called travel. Said back in his day game would have ended different.

Dokish has deleted his Twitter account. Whoever "Joe D" is (apparently at some point it was disclosed that he's a Penn State fan), showed up at Dokish's wife's place of work and tried to have her fired.

See, I think Zeise is pretty knowledgable about Pitt stuff. He is definitely better when he is being interviewed, not the host though.
