Said he was worried if he didn’t do it it would harm KDKA a season they are a sponsor and also harm his career? That’s terrible. He’s in his 70s and should probably be retired and he’s still worried about his career. Sad that he has to think that in doing something that stupid.

I think that's a pretty lame excuse to do it to try and save face other than he just got wrecked by water, and he was cognizant enough to do two thumbs up, which is the international sign of "I'm OK." Especially given how it was almost immediate.

Everyone who has met him, including people on this board (or maybe back on LGP) says he’s a super great guy and they were not treated like callers to the show are, so I assume yes.

Personally I think it is kind of surprising that no unstable people who he has disrespected on his show have ever gone after him personally like in “Talk Radio” with Eric Bogosian. Maybe they have, I don’t know.

Yep, same here. It’s funny to me how so many people eat it up, get worked up, and get offended. He does get calls saying they will kick his a**. MM challenges them but of course they never show up.

I've seen him at the Pittsburgh Jersey expo a few times and although I didn't interact with him, he seemed quite friendly with those who were asking him questions. Thing is he's probably a good guy, but the wrestling persona gets tiresome after awhile.

Due to health reasons, John Perrotto has left DK Pittsburgh Sports. I believe he had cancer shortly before joining DK.

Made some other snarky comments in the replies too. He also said he had to pay for his own meals which I assume means he wasn’t reimbursed. Imagine plugging (forcefully?) a sponsor’s product that you had to pay for out of pocket. That’s the DK way I guess. Hopefully he learned his lesson now and doesn’t join DK for a third time.

Almost every person that has come from there has said something negative. I could see 1-2 people being a disgruntled employee, but 80%+ of like 15 people that have gone through there ultimately are not in favor of DK.

Saw that last night and had a chuckle. Thought he seemed pretty busy for a guy who left DK for health reasons. Maybe the health concern was all the GetGo food. Looks like Alex Stumpf from Bucs Dugout is going to be his replacement at DK. Good for him to get a "real job" in his chosen field, but imagine that place being your first adult job.

Lol I clicked on that guys page and the first thing I saw was his gender pronouns in his bio. I can wait to see his twitter in 2 weeks when it's just a constant feed of GetGo food.

Most people that quit their jobs/have disagreements with the head of the organization usually don’t have favorable things to say

The same people who choose to employ Zeise, Poni, Muller, Pittsburgh Dad Jr. plus have 70% commercials while disguising as a real sports talk station.

Really though this was announced the same day as Bell’s own show on KDKA AM. Some cross station promotion BS.It sucks the Fan is KDKA FM. Did she go to Pitt?
