A few notes from today.

- I don't know whats going on but Madden is really starting to lose it. Maybe 2 homeruns from SRod and Tiger leading on Sunday in the same weekend broke his 166 brain.

- Think DJ Gallo needs to pack it in. Lord is he unfunny.

Back in the early Deadspin days I swear he was a lot funnier. His Twitter feed is painful now.

Even in his early twitter days I thought he was funnier.

I still follow him for some reason, but yeah his feed is blah at best.

There was a time in history when DJ Gallo was funny, but that time is hard to identify and was a long, long time ago. Possibly even in a galaxy far, far away. I never seen a member of the "media" get less likes, comments, and retweets than Gallo.

Creater of the once amusing sports satire site "Sportspickle." (think The Onion, but sports, NAN)

He's a pittsburgh guy so I just included my annoyance with him in here. I don't even consider him media and don't really even know what else he does. He's on local radio and/or podcasts once in a while.
But his entire comedic range now is basically quote tweeting a sports story, then saying that the team or player isnt good. That's pretty much all he does. And I think occasionally rips of jokes from Pardon My Take.

haha I did notice that. He has like 11K followers on his personal account (well 1 of his personal accounts) and he rarely gets double digit likes or comments. I think thats why I still follow him just for that.

Upgruv is dead.
Funny that the newest media startup is reporting thisL https://theincline.com/2018/07/19/tribl ... rformance/

I'll give the TheIncline two years as well.

Maybe "busy Millennials" would rather check Twitter, Snapchat, Facebook, etc for their news instead of these websites?

Is there another person on the planet that wouldn't hear this story, and probably forget about it after 10 seconds? Then theres Pittsburgh Dad Jr.. WUT A LEGEND

‏@colin_Pittsburgh Dad Jr.

Colony is such a legend.
Get this: his glasses broke at Steelers camp yesterday. Who did he sit down with to help get them fixed? Kevin Colbert.
Envisioning Colony and Colbert trying to fix a pair of glasses is just amazing.

Local media personality pandering to yinzers that the GM of the god-like Steelers can do a blue collar task like fixing glasses? I bet he even takes out the garbage at his house, Colin!

In a related note, In two straight tweets yesterday Pittsburgh Dad Jr. says the words "Like I wrote last monday" and "like I said all along" regarding the Archer trade
