He was the first person that ever blocked me, as of about a week ago.

He's not even the first reporter that blocked me. That honor would go to one Damien Cox, who seems to block everyone who has a differing opinion of his work.

Either he unblocked me or I was thinking of someone else.

How many times over the course of a show does Starkey say "Ron?" Has to be high, high double digits. I had it on for 1 segment on the drive to get lunch and I swear he begins and ends every sentence by addressing Cook by name.

"Well Ron, what you do think of this Steelers trade, Ron? Ron I'd say they have faith in Mason Rudolph. But you know who stands in their way don't you, Ron? The 2-0 Buffalo Bills"
Speaking of Ron, Adam Crowley on one his shows last week said that Roethlisberger only likes one person at The Fan and that is Ron. I can see that.

As for Crowley, I don't think he's bad at all, on his own. His show is pretty hard to listen to. He's filled in for Madden and I heard him on a Steelers pregame, that was pretty decent to good. And as of yet he doesn't seem to be infected with the 'say anything no matter how stupid just to get noticed' bug. But man whoever those two jamokes he does his show with are painfully unfunny and Crowley for whatever reason thinks screaming all the time enhances the show.

Yea, when he's on I usually switch it due to the yelling.

well, in his defense, 970's signal sucks, so maybe he thinks yelling will increase the coverage area

He’s not too bad on his own but his two sidekicks are terrible. Pretty sophomoric show. I do wonder when Madden retires if Crowley will take over that spot on the X? Or Benz?

Dunno. I would think Madden’s ratings are higher than when before he joined and they just played music so they would keep another host on.

Can’t believe when he started his show played music.

To be fair, Madden is a doing a good job extending into fanboy territory even more so today with the Ben / Mason stuff.

For someone who does shows at car dealerships and bars in the middle of nowhere during Pens season, MM is certainly hung up on their gas station shows.

My only exposure to Madden is this thread. I am cool with that.

Well, except the MATT MERTZ PLUMBING spots on every channel at every break. Could do without those.

I just so happen to own a sleeve of Diet Rite Pure Zero Cherry Cola. I wonder how much Madden would actually pay for that.

Man, Mueller is more irritating than ever with his Browns obsession. I don’t know if he genuinely believes it or he is just being an annoying troll.

So how long has Zeise’s son been on The Fan’s Steeler pregame show? Why??? I happened to tune in to it yesterday and he was talking with Starkey. It was awful. I thought he was a former Steeler on as a guest..nope.

He's super bad and seems completely uncomfortable. Paul Alexander was hosting a show yesterday morning, which really threw me for a loop.
