Based on those responses, I never realized Pittsburgh Dad Jr. had so many burner accounts.Gee wonder who decided on this topic?

Pittsburgh Dad Jr. literally is the worst.
I don’t think I’m going back to talk radio after this fallout.

why does it require thought though, ie who cares?

This person accused Pittsburgh Dad Jr. of creating burner accounts to troll himself in order to be more controversial..makes total sense: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/ ... clnk&gl=us
Had to use a cached link because it looks like the person deleted their Twitter account since then. Or it was one of Pittsburgh Dad Jr.'s burners he got rid of after this played its course.

Even the concept of "what qualifies you as a Pittsburgher?" sounds like yinzer gatekeeping.
I've been out here almost a decade and have lived within the Pittsburgh viewing area for all but four years of my life. I still wouldn't qualify myself as such. I don't consider myself loyal to Primanti's or Isaly's. Unless I'm heading to a game, I very rarely wear jerseys anymore. I couldn't tell you the last time I was at Kennywood. @Shop412 even has me blocked on twitter, which might get me negative yinzer points.

Primanti’s is a place I take out of town guests but don’t actually go otherwise. Might go more since we now have one here in BeavCo.
Also I am not a Stillers fan so I don’t claim to be a real Pittsburgher.

One of his tweets was something to the tune of "It made sense, and if you can't see that, you just don't like me."
At that point, I pretty much just thought, if you have to say that, you already know the answer.

In Poni’s defense (for some reason), Winston on a cheap one year deal absolutely would have made sense for the Steelers and been an improvement on their backup situation. As it is, there are reports out there that they made an offer. He turned down more lucrative deals to go to the Saints for a year and work with Sean Payton in the hopes of resurrecting his career ala Teddy Bridgewater. Nobody is gonna take less money to come pick the simple mind of Farmer Fran Fitchner.

Don't know why we would sign him to a 1 year deal though. We need longer term solutions to both the future starter and back up.In Poni’s defense (for some reason), Winston on a cheap one year deal absolutely would have made sense for the Steelers and been an improvement on their backup situation. If Ben goes down, even if Winston would come in, it doesn't get us a super bowl IMO. The team can still focus on Rudolph and get him more and more reps.

There's no reason to sign him to a 1 year deal, if Ben goes down - get a high pick and keep it, and go after QB.
If Ben is healthy, Winston doesn't play and doesn't learn like he would at the Saints.

We went 8-8 when Ben went down.. I think 7 wins is probably worst case without Ben. The defense is still really good. And probably better without Barron. There's no reason to sign him to a 1 year deal, if Ben goes down - get a high pick and keep it, and go after QB.

Jameis probably wasn't interested in a 2 year deal here because there's no guarantee he'd start in year 2 either since Ben is signed

Dumb gimmick by him, but effective I guess. This will be ammo for him to keep doing those gimmicks.

4...(FOUR) "Ron's" from Starkey and a Buffalo mention so they could play the song. There is no way they arent just airing the same show over and over and over.

All it takes if for one of Bettman or Manfred to personally talk to him positively, and he'll flip flop to ultimate support just like he did for the Pirates.DK is getting annoying with his COVID 19 rants and his target on Bettman and Manfred and how they can do no right.
