How so?

Adam Crowley filling in for MM today. The big guy had good things to say about him, he’s a young talent who recently inked a new deal w/ ESPN radio. Going to give him a shot. Will let you all know how it goes.

For one, he seems to have upped his hyper holier than though stuff. Two, him attaching himself to Bud Moonshine has greatly reduced my opnion of the type of takes coming from his reporting. 3, I never liked him much anyways.

Update on Crowley: only took about a minute for him to mention his WVU roots, and only took a segment for him to address a few comments on Twitter saying he sucks, sarcastically addressing them.

And right now he’s just bsing with that cheesedick Mackey. Dale Lolley will be on later. Horrendous.

Agreed. Dude is too over the top and annoying. Also, he sounds a lot like Tim Benz.

Today Starkey had Aditi Kinkhabwala from NFL Network in studio for awhile. So much better to listen to than Mullzy.

The best moment was before one of their million breaks, Aditi goes "Wow, you guys take a lot of breaks" and Starkey, without missing a beat, says "Well we have to pay the bills" Yeah, probably to pay for your inflated salary.

It was good stuff.

Agreed. Dude is too over the top and annoying. Also, he sounds a lot like Tim Benz.

He made sure to mention that. Dude was very pre emptive in mentioning criticisms he gets. And yeah, he definitely tried harder because he knew he was going to get way more listeners than he gets on his normal show (which Rossi filled in for today, lol. Dead air) and had to try his best to stop people from turning the dial.

Crowley has the drive-time slot on ESPN 970 AM. Most of you would not know this because most of you do not realize that ESPN 970 is still a thing in 2018.

A thought I just had on Gajtka: given he’s a SJW and one of his new outfits (Pittsburgh Hockey Now) is run by a big Trump guy (Vukovcan) who’s pretty vocal about his beliefs, I wonder if that will cause some issues down the line.

I hope this becomes an ongoing thing with guests. Greg Giannotti made a similar comment about either their limited airtime or their excessive commercial time a few weeks ago.

By the time I finished breakfast, it was a bit after 7:00 and I heard a grand total of 9 minutes of actual discussion, the most of which involved debate over when you reach the age where you can beat your dad up

I almost forgot to post this after I drove home on Friday.

11:51 - da Fan goes to a commercial.
12:01 - return from commercial, Cook gives a 30 second spot about the weather and what is coming up before going back to commercial
12:05 - update, Cook starts interview with Caufield.

Out of 15 minutes and I'll throw in the additional minute of Cook getting the opening greeting to Jay out of the way, that's 13 out of 15 minutes of commercials.
