The truest thing he’s ever said is that his writers are writers, not salespeople. I follow Taylor and Danny (RIP to his DK employment) for the Pens coverage. It was so annoying every time someone would ask a question, they’d respond to either read the article (which was behind a paywall obviously) or the person could ask in the comments of said article. In other words, trying to sell a subscription. Glad to see that tactic failed.

Alex Stumpf is a great baseball writer too, and I'm glad we'll be able to share all of the site's work in here without the paywall **** block.

I'd still very much prefer to not post any of DK's articles on site. A) He doesn't need the promotion, B) He doesn't deserve the free visits since he's such a ****** about people posting his links/content on other sites, and goes out of his way to threaten.

Do you mean anything from that site or DK's actual columns?
Pittsburgh Sports Media Thread
Anything from that site for the most part. Tweets are fine - but I wouldn't want to give DK really the pleasure of anything. It's obviously not going to happen - and I'm not that hardline on the rules, that's just my preference, that he doesn't benefit from us in any way.

I'll stick with that (tweets only), but do you think he would change that stance since he's basically dropping the paywall on articles?

Mark Madden is becoming insufferable when it comes to talk about Kenny. We get it guy, you like Ben more. Kenny is living in his head rent-free, and I don't even think Kenny has said anything.

I love living in Pittsburgh where I tune in to teh Fan (yeah I know, my 1st mistake) to hear about last night's Penguins loss and the #1 topic about the hockey game is a chant about a Steeler coach.
Also apparently they have a new studio? It's malfunctioning and Cook and Starkey can't be on mic at the same time

Not really sports related, but DK related, so might as well put it here.
Saw a retweet of DK saying he was not voting yesterday for anyone associated with Ed Gainey because they are destroying the city he loves, but yet in the next breath will yell at anyone that says downtown is becoming a **** hole and getting destroyed.

Just general crying, city is in the toilet - it's up to the people to do it because the Mayor and new executive won't help, etc.

I'm sure he thinks Zappala is doing a great job though.

DK opens up shop in Downtown and then becomes a resident there and suddenly becomes both a city cheerleader and political activist. Shocking coincidence.. He never went on these rants before those events happened.
