...yeah. That whole mess totally didn’t hurt Dejan at all. What a great take by the “super genius”.

The Fan has to be the worst sports talk station in the country.The content usually stinks and then it is made worse by short segment times, constant promotions and commercials, and too many useless updates. Anyone disagree?

In theory a station's AM and PM drive time shows should be their strongest as listener count is at its highest. With the Fan, they are arguably their worst shows. I tuned into the opener of Starkey/Mullzy yesterday because I was in the car at 2PM and they talked about Starkey's down feather jacket or something for over five minutes. Mullzy goads Starkey into talking about this stuff, so I don't know if its an act or Mullzy really wants to know or thinks it is good radio. Then they introduce what they want to talk about..and then its commercial and update time. By the time they will come back on and get to discussing, I have long been out of the car and won't be tuning back in. Wonder how many people do the same thing?

A few weeks ago I ate an entire bowl of shredded wheat for breakfast and hear 0 minutes of actual hosts talking about sports. it was all commercials and updates. and believe me you, it takes some time to eat a large bowl of traditional, unsweetened shredded wheat

I haven't listened to the FAN in a long time outside of Pitt games and Bucco games.

All commercials and updates, and the little talk they do is each host playing grab ass with each other.

which is interesting, because after 6:00 the commercials go from the usual car dealerships/shystey lawyers to government funded PSAs almost instantly. it is feast or famine for commercials for that station
