If that stuff is true about the text messages that's gotta be a major blow right?

Conspiracy guy in me has to think the Athletic is behind this, but since they took Yohe and Kaboly they've been relatively quiet.

Where did they allude this? Do you have links to tweets? I didn't see anything.

Kaboly had a couple of tweets where he tagged Yohe and would say something like "refreshing like" and then post a gif. It could be a reference to this rumored Deadspin story OR Kaboly just learned a new skill AND a couple new words and wanted to show off.

I have no interest in reading about NFL football, but is he as bad at his job as his PGH peers?

I don't think he's bad. He's just nothing special, imo.

He is a really poor writer. Likely the worst of the "big" guys.

I have no idea what his knowledge of X and Os is, but I don't believe he markets himself as anything more than a beat writer in any event.

DK made an announcement today that he is no longer running the day to day operations of his site, his wife is taking over all of that. And Dale Lolley will take over as Editor in Chief.

DK is just going to write columns and just do that going forward. Said he has been a horrible boss and his wife will handle the site stuff so much better.

If what Sarah is writing is true and some of the messages come out, DK should be in trouble, but probably won't.

I wonder if this is the calm before the storm, because if the rumor is true and there's something about to drop, he's gonna go with the old "Why I'm horrible person" article and call it a day. Not saying that's all that should happen - just seems what it's lining up for. He's essentially taking himself out of all leadership positions so he can say "he's being controlled"

Thumbs up to Brian Metzer for being one of the few members of the media that has not bought into the whole "dad" thing.

If only DAD could save us.... from everything. Bad losses... a dearth of depth on the hockey team... and so much more. DAD is everything. Help us DAD D Kenobi... you’re our only hope.
