Do I have to pay for the pleasure?
No. (unless they lock it down later)

They must have received their federal work study budget and can pay him $7/hr.

And judging from all of the Trib writers retweeting him, he no longer is at DK Sports. He doesn't have a byline there later than August 10th.

If it's Mueller, you suck. ;)

upgruv is either owned by 535 media or the Trib. Rossi just doesn't actively represent the Trib anymore.
I believe they're owned by the Trib

You're a better man than I am. Yohe is like listening to white noise when trying to sleep. Boring.

Had no idea Benz left DK. I see a veiled call-out for the amount of responsibility he was given at that group to do something totally not done before.

I actually give Benz credit. For what he was asked to do at DK and the pod-casting stuff, I thought he did a really solid job. I looked forward to his Monday interviews with Madden, etc.

I can't see the radio portion of the site continuing to grow without a dedicated person on it, so it was fun while it lasted.

So I wonder if The Atlantic is going to move into the Pittsburgh market. I hope so, they would be a legitimate threat to all sports media in Pittsburgh.

The Athletic?

I don't know anything about it, I think I just saw that Rosenthal was leaving Fox Sports for it.

Well, I'm not sure I'm interested in what the Atlantic has to say about sports.

They'd have to import writers from elsewhere? They won't entice me, if Starkey gets hired.

The Athletic. I was calling it the Atlantic as well.

One of the Canadian hockey writers mentioned the Athletic would be announcing job opportunities for NHL beat writers for Pittsburgh, Boston and one other city.

Yes lol. A lot of big time players went there. Lebrun, Russo (beats reporter for Minnesota). They're making a very strong push. It's only a matter of time before they emerge as a website for hockey in Pittsburgh.

Never knew Benz did all that stuff. Maybe he needed a year round stable gig and DK wasn't it. Bad timing with the launch of their radio station. Hopefully DK doesn't hold a grudge with Benz over this.

I did tune into the DK Radio and Yohe and DK were doing 2016/207 Stanley Cup memories. I listened for a few minutes for each season (still feels good to say that..) and thought it was cool. I like stuff like that.

Speaking of Benz. He is the king around here of these stupid jokes. LMBO thats 2 different sportsball players, git it?!

I think I've seen him make a MAF pitching for the pirates or some dumb inverse of that like 10 times
