Makes me want some Lagavulin 16, especially since I have been watching Parks and Rec lately.

I forgot how much I love a good hot toddy... sucks I only think to make them when I'm sick, because they're delicious.

@slappybrown and other potentially interested parties....

The Wine Show on Hulu (from ITV in the UK) is an absolute blast.

Thanks tif, will check this out.

If anyone has started using Vivino, this is an excellent price for a wine I really enjoyed (just put another order in for more after the first few we put down):

I love cabernets, this is very intriguing. Just for fun I just clicked the "Pay" button to see where it took you next. Immediately a confirmation comes up with all of my credit card information in there, ready to order six bottles with one click. :scared: I think it's all saved in Chrome.

Were the fields all yellow? If so, that is indeed Chrome autofill. I have my primary card info saved in Chrome, but I have to manually input the CVV# to finish the fill. Not 100% safe, but more convenient than having to enter all that ish from scratch every time.

Wife has to proctor an exam tonight, the kid is asleep in her crib, so I made one of my favorite drinks for the evening. It's a manhattan, toronto crossover.

2 oz. Rye
1/2 oz Fernet Branca
1/2 oz sweet vermouth
Couple dashes of bitters

Dilute for a bit over ice and then pour over ice. If you have an orange, garnish with orange peel, but it's fine without.

Considered in isolation, what in the world is the point of consuming only 3 oz of anything?

So you are scanning wines that arent showing up in their database? Anything in a PA liquor store should be on there. I dont think Ive ever had something in a PLCB store not show up (there have been times where the wine has very few reviews, but they are in there). What is an example or two of what you are scanning

I would say that my use is 75% shopping for deals and 25% scanning.

I am out of bourbon and all that's left is my wife's rum, which is nasty. Sad!

Buy her a bottle of bourbon when you buy your bottle of bourbon, and when she says "I don't like bourbon..." now you have 2 bottles of bourbon.
