So to close the loop, my non PLCB Booze order was delivered with no issues.
One bottle of this in huckleberry. Excellent sipping vodka. Mrs. Franchise will be trying it in a mule late no doubt.

so the state has to be losing a **** load of money with the closure and their ineptitude to launch their ecommerce, does this lead to dismantling of the state stores?

God I hope so. I saw a petition circulating somewhere to get rid of the state store, but that won't go anywhere. Money talks.

My friend tells me there are cops at the Maryland border or at the Maryland border liquor stores busting people from PA. Maybe he was just saying that to convince me to give him my tequilai live 5 minutes from the Ohio border so I am good for the foreseeable future

Hmm doesn't sound like a big risk. He said something about a much bigger fine
According to the letter of the law at present, violators - i.e. anyone who is not a licensed hauler - caught bringing alcohol in from out-of-state and specifically, not purchased from a Pennsylvania liquor store or licensee are subject to fines of $10 per bottle or can of beer, and $25 per bottle of liquor. Police will also confiscate the alcohol.

Your friend is full of bs. Not like you would be buying fireworks. Every time we go to Ohio we stop at aldi and buy a bunch of their cheap wine. Never once did they question my PA license. My friend tells me there are cops at the Maryland border or at the Maryland border liquor stores busting people from PA. Pfft how are they going to enforce that? Like the fireworks example above, unless they witness you buying said alcohol and driving across state borders, how would they know?https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pennli ... utType=amp

Haha he's sticking to his story of a friend's friend fined a few grand in MD and that it's happening in DE too. Said his primary friend went down and the cashier said to hide it because cops are cruising liquor stores looking for PA plates. Maybe it's those fake cops I've been hearing about!

For our anniversary my wife ordered me a bottle of Laphroaig from wine.com. Showed up today with no issues other than being a week late.

We have a ton of different types of booze and enough beer but Mrs. Franchise is concerned about our lack of wine.

I find it hard to believe they are letting booze from other states come in by UPS but they're stepping up patrols at the state lines. I live 10 miles from Ohio and have not heard this.Haha he's sticking to his story of a friend's friend fined a few grand in MD and that it's happening in DE too. The one rumor I did hear is that WV liquor stores have stopped selling to PA residents because there's not enough supply now for actual WV residents.

Apparently Delaware cops are allowed to pull over out of state plates to confirm they're in DE for essential business. One cop sent a guy away from a home depot? Lol

Been experimenting with drinks a little more with time off. Found a juicer I’ve never used and found that margaritas with fresh lime juice are fantastic.

Agave nectar? Sounds expensive. I’ve done 3-2-1 ratio of tequila, triple sec, fresh lime. Where would I get agave nectar? One ounce fresh lime juice, one ounce agave nectar, two ounces of tequila.
