If you guys ever want a good laugh go watch one of his interviews. He just sounds high and aloof at all times. Seems like a good dude though in general.
The Bosas are kind of ridiculous specimens of human athletic accomplishment. They also seem to have the combined IQ of a pork chop.

I bet he doesn't put a late out of bounds hit on an already injured QB at the end of a playoff game again. I think someone mentioned this earlier but it wasn't some failure to execute like missing a FG. Dude went out with intent to injure and it made the Chiefs winning the game a **** ton easier.

Suck less next time, for everyone's sake.
I've heard variations of this story in the context of both aviation and motor racing. A Junior Mechanic makes critical error in a specific way of preparing Vehicle; calamity ensues when said Vehicle is taken out for a spin by the Boss; upon safely returning Vehicle to the garage/hanger, the Lead Mechanic says to Boss "Junior Mechanic will never prepare your Vehicle in that specific way again, Boss." At which point Boss says, "Actually, I only ever want Junior Mechanic to prepare Vehicle in that way. Because he will never make that same mistake again."

But yes, this wasn't a failure to perform. Guy's eyes lit up at the chance to hit the QB and the red mist descended. That is very much something to harangue the guy about.

I don't understand bet lines but that seems high for those 4.
Having plus or even "low minus" things stacked in a parlay can really pay dividends...

So, even if all four were -120, that's a big jump when you get to the fourth criterion.

-120 * -120 * -120 = ~+600
Add another -120 and it becomes ~+1200

Four at +120 (slight not-favorite) is ~+2400

So is -120 bet 120 to win 100 and +120 is bet 100 to win 120? so +2000 is bet 100 to win 2000 or am I way off

As Meow might say, explain it like I'm 5.

Is it a straight cut then as you go up or down?

So in that +2000, if you bet $10 you win 200 or if you bet $5 you win $100?

i had a silly one that hit at at +340
Boyd Over 19.5 yards
Chase Over 49.5 yards
Higgins over 29.5 yards
Hurst under 59.5 yards
Mixon under 39.5 yards
McKinnon under 49.5 yards
JJSS under 79.5 yards

i had a +2000 parlay on cmc, hurts, kelce, and chase to score tds. really bummed that chase wasnt the one that hit
I had a +4500 parlay where everything hit except Mixon going over 14.5 carries. He ended up with 8.

Even if you combined Mixon and Perine, they still wouldn't have reached 14.5.

The way people are acting as if this guy ruined his life with a football play is ridiculous. He made a mistake, it happens, it's a game. Sure it lead to a loss, but so did a lot of other things in the game that the Bengals did/didn't do.

It's like these people forget that they've spent their entire lives doing this and have never learned how to lose before.
I recommend watching the Bartman 30 for 30 (Catching Hell). I have no idea if that will actually be Ossai’s fate but it talks about how much ire both Steve Bartman and Bill Buckner had to deal with after being the scapegoats of those Cubs and Red Sox teams respectively

Bartman still never really resurfaced because of how much **** he had to deal with. It’s genuinely awful how terrible people can be

sucks for Bartman because he paid to be there. They paid Ossai to perform and he actively blew it

what about Bill Buckner?
The constant media attention affected Buckner in his personal life, it made the subconscious of Boston, and America in general believe it was all one man’s fault. The documentary does a great job of showing how it was the media that failed to look at any other of the other factors that went into the infamous Game Six.

Buckner said it was incredibly difficult for him to forgive the media “for what they put me and my family through.”

The constant attention paid to the gaffe by the newspapers, both local and nationally, was an everyday reminder that Buckner was the reason the Mets ended up winning the World Series.

Buckner didn't deserve what he got. Again, the airhead late hit to lose a game wasn't a football play. he didn't drop a pass or miss a tackle, or make an error like in Buckner's case

So bengals fans are made because burrows’ flop didn’t get called a personal foul? While clearly late, that was pathetic acting job.

Purdy has a torn UCL and they're suggesting Tommy John surgery. Holy cow

Purdy's last 10 months or so:

- Last pick in the entry draft (which isn't the worst thing in the world; someone is last in their class at Yale law or Harvard medical every year)
- Signs deal that carries a $20,000 signing bonus (wooo! swimming in loot!)
- Makes 49ers 53 as QB3 (which most teams do not have)
- Makes the gameday 46 only like 2x before Lance gets hurt
- Is elevated to QB1 via Jimmy G injury and wins his first six starts
- Wins two playoff games, including a game against a division rival in which he had a 130+ QBR and a showcase game vs America's Team (tm)
- Occupies the catbird seat to take over QB1 full time forever in 2023 because Trey Lance is a poobag
- Explodes arm in conference championship game, facing surgery with a recovery timeline that will likely see him miss all of 2023.

That is I believe what my therapist calls a 'roller coaster'

Yeah everything I read says 6 months.

Still sucks. Feel awful. Can't catch a break long term at QB. I guess we see what Lance has early on again possibly.
