17 seasons, 5-7 playoff record with no AFC Championship appearances since 2007. It’s not all on him and his statistics will put him in the Hall, but the dude is most definitely not a finisher.
I was thinking about his HOF case
He shouldn’t get in. His numbers look good but everyone’s numbers in this era are inflated. Was he ever a top 3 QB? That combined with no Super Bowls lead me to no, he shouldn’t be in

Is top 3 the line though really...? Yzerman wasn't a top 2 center because of 99 and 66...almost inarguably, Rivers went against 3 of the top 10 or 12 QBs in history his whole career...and that's not including where ever Aaron Rodgers is ascending to...
Not saying he's a lock or not...just saying, as a small room guy, your room might be smaller...
my point is: if he never made a super bowl and was never a top guy at his position, what’s the use of having him in? Never even made a first or second team all-pro
He has more pro bowls than I thought (8) but I don’t think that’d enough
Also I’m curious, what do you guys think about Eli? I think he’s a yes. 2 Super Bowl MVPs is enough imo
He can't be an all pro because of what I already stated. And then you somehow subverted your own point by naming a player that was never top 8 at his position...Eli has exactly no case. Even with the rabid festishization of the least valuable playoffs in sport...

Agreed. That was an opportunity there and the Titans D hasn't exactly been lighting it up on the last few possessions as far as getting a 3 and out.

I sucks knowing the Titans are trash and still having to root for them.
Also, every Titans game I've watched this year Henry was a ghost. Not that I watch a lot of Titans games.

That OPI on the Ravens may have just let Vrabel off the hook. But yeah, you gotta gauge the room and if your defense has been allowing the opponents to chew clock on every possession, you'd better maximize the possessions you do get.

He just got stoned on a 3rd and 1. QB had to sneak it on 4th to cover his ass.

I'm working some OT today and have it on in the background. Knocking off at 4:30 to start drinking for the Steeler game.
