They're somehow the only team in the division that's even remotely doing something that might be considered "trending up".
This. Ben doesn't have 3/5 great seasons left, Lamar Jackson will still have to throw the ball at some point, Marvin Lewis, etc.
I think two is a pretty good bet after what they were able to do this year, even after a quarter of the season was hamstrung by Jackson & Hailey.

So the Browns are going to win the North for the next how many years?
O/u is set at 1.5 of the next five years. Go.
Our division is lame. They’re going up. Everyone else is going down. So the logical answer is Over. But I don’t think it’s inappropriate to apply a “but Cleveland” filter. They are institutionally toxic. They could easily mess this all up.

Push. Despite integers.

Would we count a tie for the division as half a win? If so, I could see a push.

Huh? No. There's an AFC North champion. It's a binary result. Yes or no.

You're right. I think I just ended up confusing myself.

Is it even possible for there to be a tie? I know overall record and H2H are taken into consideration. What does it go to if both teams are, say, 9-6 and are 1-1 against each other? Record against the rest of the divison?

I'm an over on the Browns prop bet. I don't think Mayfield is that good, but I agree with the line that the Browns are the only AFCN team that's moving forward at the moment.

I don't think they were significantly worse than that awful Ravens team that won the division. Had they sacked up and shitcanned Hue in the offseason like they should have they might've won the thing this year.

Don't get me wrong, it's kinda fun seeing my dad and his brothers get all excited about the Browns, knowing in the back of my mind they will be crying in their beer when it all comes crumbling down. But as a Pirate fan, one has to feel for them. Perhaps they'll be a wild card team for a few years and never win the division.

Truth is, they have the talent. They need a coach that won't crap the bed. I mean, Marvin Lewis won 4 division titles so all they need is >= Marvin Lewis. Can't be that hard, right. RIGHT??

I thought the point was to make a statement. Isn’t he infinitely wealthy already? Seems like keeping this stink on the league would be more of a benefit to his brand - if not his wallet. Settlements generally mean you gotta shut up now, right?
