Taylor being evaluated. Looks like leg got twisted.

Here comes Baker Mayfield.

Two big passes and then fumbles.

Luckily covered by a lineman

It's amazing the difference between someone like Mayfield who is decisive with his throws versus Taylor who looked so tentative in the pocket and as a result, his throws were going all over the place.

Lolol Crowell wiped his ass with the football after scoring and then the flag came hilariously flying in. That was great.

Was Joe Buck as disgusted by that as he was when Randy Moss fake mooned the Lambeau crowd?

I have a feeling once DCs get some film on Mayfield his party will end rather unceremoniously. I don't think it will be as bad as RGIII but I picture Brett Favre on an awful team kind of vibe. It's akin to the Gambler's Ruin; the gunslinging will eventually catch up with him.

Or he'll be super awesome. Either way.

Rooting for not that many field goals by both teams and not that many completions for Darnold. No particular reason...
Mayfield is really **** me here. The Jets, like myself, never contemplated him coming into the game it seems.

Steelers looking up at the Browns.

Where are those that laughed at me during the preseason when said Browns were looking better? (Yes, I know any is better than winless, but their defense is decent and Mayfield will keep them in games much more than Tyrod.)

Don’t tell me my business again, Mr. Hooper.

Squeaked out my FG under by .5 and my Darnold completions under by about 5, though that could've been wiped out on the last drive if they Jets weren't awful.

Bankable mediocrity is the best mediocrity.

Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox called a lack of national recognition for his level of play "disrespectful" and said he is using it for fuel as he pursues Defensive Player of the Year honors this season.

He'll tear an MCL by week 7.

(Not hoping for it, just guessing.)

Piano wire??

My pre-season prediction was that CLE would win 5 or 6 games, including a couple divisional matchups, so I'm right there with you, Chief.

Been flipping between Eagles/Colts and Ravens/Broncos. It's insane the amount of penalties called in a game. NFL or maybe it's football in general is just not fun to watch due to the constant penalties. Can't enjoy a single exciting play because it's either nullified by a call or you're waiting to see if there's a call.

I think the Colts D had 4 or 5 penalties on the Eagles go ahead drive.

Clay Matthews roughing the passer: https://twitter.com/SportsCenter/status ... 2659647488
Calling it a “textbook” case of roughing, Hochuli said that the hit by Matthews falls squarely within the point of emphasis regarding the roughing passer foul, as it relates to the placement of all or most of the defender’s body weight on the passer.

“They’ve been calling it this way for six weeks,” Hochuli said. “It’s as clear of an example of roughing the passer as you could have.”

So what should Matthews have done differently? Hochuli said that the solution is simple. Matthews had two steps before hitting Smith. The league expects Matthews in that situation to hit him and roll to the side, landing with Matthews’ body weight on the ground, not on the passer.
Ridiculous ****.

Let the record show that walking trashcan Clay Matthews has had at least one of those each week of the season so far.
