Yo wat is u doin?Might be easier to do that in Utah.I will live in Arizona in the winter. Maybe I will have two wivesThey let you travel state to state? No papers?and perhaps a recreational vehicleI will live in Montana. And I will marry a round American woman and raise rabbits, and she will cook them for me. And I will have a pickup truck
Just two?

*reportedly is the key. How much of that was guaranteed versus contractual escalators etc. Arizona is a lot of money on the table that he's getting no matter what. Cleveland could have had opt outs, etc.I think he wanted nice weather. He had offers for better money with better teams
Anyone can put a tweet out there with stuff like this, and it never be confirmed.

the two wives in Utah thing or Watt preferred the nicer weather? That's a fairly cynical take for this space...

I think the money thing is known sure - but like the Lev Bell situation, about the money etc. Money number was high, but Steelers had outs that would have taken money from him.
Ultimately the devil would be in the details, who knows. He picked Arizona, and they're not contenders, imo.

money and championship contention are likely the two biggest factors but they're not the only factors. Maybe JJ wanted to be a member at TPC Scottsdale or something, idk
I don't get why either party would do it but it's done anyway

If I was a guy that struggled to string together a full season of work I'd take the deal with the most guaranteed money. He's not going to play much, which won't help elevate his team. Either way, he gets his.

He’s allegedly only two inches shorter and two pounds lighter than Brees but is insanely more athletic, which I guess is a blessing and a curse
I think with his baseball background he’ll generally be safe as in he knows how to slide; similar to Russell Wilson who has proven that he can survive in the league. Maybe I’m putting too much weight in the baseball background thing but Murray looks like he knows when to avoid contact and not take too many hits
I say his athleticism is potentially a curse because someone like Brady, he’s gonna wave the white flag when he knows he’s beat. He’s not going to try to make a play out of nothing and risk injury like a BRoeth or Rodgers. So Murray will often times be tempted to scramble and do crazy things but he doesn’t have the size to shrug it off like most QBs so he’s probably more likely to get hurt on any one tackle
He’s exciting as hell though. I think he’s much better than Lamar Jackson then being an NFL QB. Murray knows how to throw it

Interesting. Colts and Browns had plenty of cap room to accommodate the high end that Watt ended up signing for. Titans would've needed to jigger some other contracts/roster moves to make any deal for Watt happen, and it looks like the Cards will have to do some shuffling as well now that there's an agreement in place. (I don't think Watt can technically sign until the new League year starts on 3/17, or at least Spotrac doesn't have him on the Cards' roster yet)

What the fudge does playing baseball have to do with not getting snapped in half by dudes three times your size? Baseball equips you with nearly no transferable athletic tools beyond hand eye coordination

NFL announcers really like the idea that someone that plays baseball already knows how to slide. As if that skill can't be mastered in an afternoon.
