This was the greatest NFL theme of all time. You were (probably) gonna get a great NFC game and although ESPN had started and there was more coverage than there used to be, it was your weekly dose of NFL and this theme signaled it.

CBS still uses the "Come on and Watch some Basketball" theme for CBB but this one has been relegated to the history books. The new one has some similarities but it's just not the same.

Heard it online this morning with a Pat Summerall introduction of a 'Skins/Giants game from the glory years. I'm ready to run through a brick wall now.

It's pretty disappointing to see Brees selling out. The sports gambling stuff is just out of control--look at the number of celebrities you've seen in their commercials over the last six months. It's like the American equivalent of the PIF.
