So, upon watching the video, the argument starts in the hotel room. They both get in each other's faces and are pushing and shoving. One of the police reports has Hunt as victim, eluding to the altercation starting in the room.
When she slams into the wall, Hunt actually pushes his friend, who loses his balance and tackles the woman, darn near knocking her out (Don't drunk and brawl, friends)
When he kicks her, she's kneeling, and she lightly rolls over.

If she's a man, its seen as a barroom brawl and nobody cares. She's not a spouse or even really an acquaintance, so domestic abuse it is not. She continues to approach him and his room, meanwhile he never leaves a 10 foot radius of his domicile (what the hell is an apartment hotel anyways).

My prediction, three game suspension. Take Roger's fake 6 games for a first offense and cut it in half since the NFL already knew this existed and didn't take action (back when the Chiefs were "rebuilding" with Mahomes instead of Super Bowl bound). I think it's probably more likely to be 2, but I'd be pretty disappointed in that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, morally, he's a shithead. Man or woman, he's much stronger than the other person, and can close the door. Maybe if they're not both intoxicated somebody is wise enough to walk away, but he's obviously the one with more to lose in any situation, and the one with the most power. And as we all know, with great power...

Here come all of the defenders/excusers on Twitter. "It wasn't anything like the Rice video, he didn't even make that much contact with her." How does that fcking matter?!

I'm also seeing the catch all excuse, "she called him a racial slur."

The Chiefs just released Kareem Hunt after the release of the video with his altercation with a suspected white supremacist female. If you take a good look at the video, Hunt is not "brutalizing" or "beating" the woman up at all.

A 'suspected white supremacist female'. That's a good way of the writer spinning it to somehow justify the action.

It seems like Hunt was less than forthright about this when the Chiefs asked him about it back when it happened. That is likely what got him bounced. It's bad enough that the Chiefs have Tyreek Hill and his previous issues on the team and now with this video surfacing, they had to make this sort of move.

The local story for Hill was he admitted what he’d done wrong, sought counseling, and had been punished at the time. Being drafted was giving him his second chance.
None of that has held true for Hunt. If he comes clean, and tries to better himself he should get a second chance, but it has to come after his punishment and with a new organization.

I saw so many people defending him on FB. It’s unreal how easily people justify stuff like that.

BAL-ATL is funny. They have the roof open, and the sight line for the broadcast booths for the whole first quarter was blasted by direct sun light; Nantz and Romo could not see the game they were calling. (Not that you could tell the difference with Nantz)

they didn't miss much. this game is truly awful. I did enjoy the Ravens trolling UGA with their fake punt and then Lamar Jackson fumbling the ball on the very next play.

The last play in the Bills game was wild. Josh Allen had to scramble for 5-10 seconds, found his guy wide open in the end zone, and he dropped it.

Well, that's a shame. It's always a good year when the Packers miss the playoffs and even though they torpedoed one of my exotic bets today, I'll never cry about a Packers loss.
