I couldn't imagine living with myself if I did something like that even if I was at 0% fault.

Yup, that would destroy me. I'd be messed up for the rest of my life.

Looks like he was driving forward. He didn't back over her. I wonder how that happens. Looking at his phone? Driving too fast ? Seems almost impossible if you're being a good citizen behind the wheel.
This is actually easy to imagine if you've ever driven a lifted large truck.

As far as living with this.... Nope

Id be doing my best buddy Dwyer impersonation

Ditto. I'm ridiculously paranoid about this stuff, all the kids have to be standing in front of me in direct eyesight when I'm moving cars around the driveway. So much so that at my parents' house my youngest runs up to the stoop Essie the garage and stands like a statue

Brilliant. The week of the draft, in which he is projected to potentially go as high as the first round, and he decides to punch a 120 pound woman in the mouth the weekend before. The stupidity of these guys never ceases to amaze.

This is even dumber than the 4 star recruit that Georgia just ditched, over a battery charge. At least he has the excuse of being 18.

So Hernandez was gay and the suppression of gay culture in sports is why he shot Lloyd? Poor guy. First he had to grow up on the mean streets of Connecticut and then after making millions someone called him a gay slur so he had to murder him execution style.

Really? That's effed up.

Also: pretty sure I saw a Law & Order episode with that exact twist (of a gay pro athlete committing murder).

Read that on Friday. Couldn't believe how effed up his head must have been for that to be the issue.
Tactless joke: I guess I won't be selling firearms to Michael Sam anytime soon.

What are the rules governing that stuff at the combine? They aren't in the League yet, and they're college days are done. Is testing just sort of informational?

When you become property of the state in a conviction resulting in without parole, doesn't the state own your physical body when you die? If so, how is it that Hernandez's body will be buried outside prison (state) property?

There was a discussion last week that I'll leave to the lawyers of the board, but he was acquitted of the two murders two weeks ago and since he died during the appeals process of his first conviction before the process was completed, that conviction was thrown out...or some other legal mumbo jumbo.

In Phil Sims news, it appears we will not be rid of him after all. He's joining the CBS in-studio crew, replacing T-Gon.

I'm not a fan of pregame shows in general, but CBS has about the most boring, vanilla one you can imagine.

Perhaps he's still eligible for a graduate transfer to TCU.
