Their foremost concern is money. They're going to do everything they can do to keep their marquee Thanksgiving primetime matchup. I think this game happens unless Lamar gets it.
Very much this.

It's the same reason why my company always says "Safety is our first priority". No it isn't, money is. You have to say that for insurance reasons.

Will this attitude be the same if Steelers have COVID positives come playoffs?
Of course not. What a silly question.

What’s so hard here, Bev? One helps the steelers, which is good. One hurts the steelers, which is bad. Case closed

Hell no. If the Steelers get covid the game, possibly even the entire season, should be postponed until they’re good to go.

Looks like Cowboys strength and conditioning coach Markus Paul passed away this morning.
...or not:

10:46 AM PT -- Dallas Cowboys strength and conditioning coach Markus Paul has been identified as the staffer who suffered a medical emergency Tuesday morning -- but the team says he is NOT dead.

"As per the Paul family, Markus is in the process of undergoing further medical tests," the team said in a statement. "The organization extends its prayers and support to the Paul family, and asks for friends and followers of Markus, his family and the team to keep them in their thoughts and prayers."

If the Steelers get it en masse it was done deliberately and with malice aforethought and they should be automatically declared the SB Champs!

If that was truly the case then the hall of fame would be less than a quarter of the current size.

Something to the tune of:

Manning will be in the HOF but shouldn't because he was never clearly the best at his position during his career

I initially typed "Peyton Manning shouldn't be in the HOF or should have to wait...?" based on DD's response...

I mean, it's crazy to think that he wasn't the best player (I think that's an absolute lay-up for, at very worst, multiple years)...and even if that was the criteria for the HOF, that means there's like 12 QBs in the HOF probably...

That's a three-striker for me, immediately to the center of the earth, giant wheel, all eternity...because you're irredeemable, clearly...

Eli only won playoff games in 2 seasons. Granted, they went the distance each time and each time they slayed the dragon. But I have a hard time buying that as HOF credentials.

Eli is not even remotely close to the HOF, but my understanding is that that statement would be a non-sequitur...
