Welp, that was something. Expect another blowout in the Super Bowl, no way the Chiefs can compete with MVS and a bunch of practice squad players on the outside. Going to feel like the loss to Tampa.
I don't know, man. I'm actually cautiously optimistic (which is not in my nature to be). I may end up being sad, but I can't help but think that that collection of rookies and practice squad guys -- teamed with Mahomes -- might end up doing something special.

Probably not, but an old man can dream. Won't affect my life either way, of course. But it's fun to dream.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Q Mecole Hardman Q John Ross
Marquez Valdes-Scantling Justin Watson Q Ty Fryfogle
Kadarius Toney Q Skyy Moore Justyn Ross IR

I like your optimism. This is the correct take!

who needs first round picks when you have 200 mil locked up in a 34 year old QB

Holy crap. I didn't know John Ross was in the KC organization. I remember when he came out of college and was crazy nutso fast. Like Usain Bolt crazy nutso fast. Presumably he can't run a route or catch a ball, though. Bit of a shortcoming for a WR.

So he came out of retirement, got divorced, only to finish the season with the worst record of his career and then retire again? Nailed it.

Yea, I'm sure many won't remember, but he was added to the list of "just should have stayed retired" for me. Going out on top, opposed to coming back to a weaker team and middling around.

I want no part of him on the 49ers. I would probably just not watch next year if he was the QB.
