Also it was nice to just watch some football. I enjoyed the escape for a few hours.

No, pretty sure they were saying boo-urns.There's clear boos in that video lol

I'm one that feels that all of these gestures, signage, etc can cause more divisiveness and wish they'd stay out of sports, and it has become more of a focus than the game itself. But at the same time, I certainly wouldn't boo or disrespect them.

I got a football (also after an extra point) at a Rutgers game like 10 or 12 years ago and they had security scouring all around to try to find it and return it...my friends and I set up a series of misdirections as to who had it and I think I ended up putting in one of our girl's purses...it looks like that guy not only put himself and others at risk, effectively jumped onto the field, and got a game ball, but it looks like he was allowed to stay at the game and keep the ball...he got a TV interview...
I do kind of wish I grew up in an era where you could just...do stuff...I'm not saying I'd be out there being the Duke boys or Dennis the Menace...but just, I don't know, I'd trade in having to go to the bank by 5 pm Friday to get all my cash for the weekend because I didn't have access to ATMs or credit cards in exchange for a couple of real old school social outings haha

I knew that would be taken in a weird way...but I just want to experience what it was like to, say, just go down to the gross part of the Jersey Shore in like 1978 - go to like Bar A or whatever and just get after it for a weekend...no cell phones, no uber, like, you just had to figure **** out...I've never started a night out of drinking without a cell phone (reasonably, like, not including a beach bar or whatever)...I'd just want the experience...

Have you watched Class Action Park yet? I think you'd really like it. It's like 90 minutes of NJ'ers destroying themselves at a water park that was built to kill them. The owner would doodle a ride on a napkin and then a year later 8th graders are being shot out of it. Go watch.

It was definitely OK. And it's not just the cell phones and the ATMs, there's an era to it...the clothes, the hair, "Miss You" being played on repeat probably at most clubs...it's no doubt a grass-is-always-greener thing and I wouldn't want it permanently, knowing what I can do now because of all the amenities...but it's one of those, "if I had a time machine" things, this is - illogically - one of my first stops...
