Steeler Great, Byron Leftwich.

He lost that game at Akron. People forgetThe same Byron leftwich that had his linemen carry him down the field to keep playing???
Is this what it means to be old? People you remember playing becoming head coaches in the nfl?

we’ll see. He’s coached some bad offenses but also has a lot of bad QBs. I’m just glad it’s someone other than Fangio

lol I never said I don’t care for his offense. Just that he’s been the coach of some bad offenses (which might be attributable that his best QB he’s had other than Rodgers is Bortles which is saying something)

no I’m in Mike Shanahan’s. I played a lot of Madden with the Broncos in the 2000s

also, hope you’re happy with the new XFL name @RonnieFranchise (though I wouldn’t go as far to say this “confirms” the name…just that it suggests it)

Bears hired, for their HC, the Colts DC that got embarrassed by the Jags, eh?
And the Bears biggest issue is QB. Hmmm. Bold strategerie.

Oh, for sure. Just pointing out the timing and optics are doo-doo. Which is relevant because the Bears themselves are doo-doo.

Our new GM is already 0-1. If you wanted a defensive guy, Flores was right there for the taking. Jim Caldwell would have been a great move and both hires would have been good for the optics of the failing diversity initiative by the NFL. Plus, both of those have been established head coaches in the league. Nope, let's go with a career assistant. Gotta hope this new GM can find some offensive line and defensive back help. I'm already looking forward to another 5-12 season.

Eberflus came from Dallas with high regard and delivered in Indy. Plagued with a terrible defense for basically my entire time following the team, I think we were top 10 all four years he was our DC...
Especially last season, we were turnover kings. We got pressure without blitzing. Our linebackers helped insulate our secondary with disguises and guys on our secondary played above their pay grade...guys like Kenny Moore became semistars as far defenders go these days. He did a lot of really good work here. I don't know how he'll be as a head coach, but he was everything and more for the Colts as a DC...

I’m good with Commanders although I understand the local sentiment is for Red Wolves, which as I mentioned before sounds like some lame ass MAC Sun Belt college program .
