[Hughes] The Jets have given Bell a deadline to sign their contract offer. They’re not waiting forever.

My assumption is he’s nowhere near what he wants if they did the “best offer” move
I have a feeling he is going to get what he wants. $15M+ per year and a ton of guaranteed money.

No, but there are 2 or 3 teams in the NFL that are dumb every f'ing year and fall for this crap and pay crazy ass players. Raiders and Jets are the top 2.

Jets are going to overspend big time on Bell and negotiate against themselves. He is going to get his huge payday.

I think most teams are smart to that. All it takes is 1 or 2. And they'll keep doing it.

I have a feeling he is going to get what he wants. $15M+ per year and a ton of guaranteed money.
His tag salary was $14.5 mil. He needs to be up closer QB $$$ in salary, or get $14.5 mil more in guarantees than he was offered by PIT. And while I'm quite sure of the stupidity of a few franchises, I'm not totally sure anyone is that stupid.

Then again, the front runners appear to be the Jets, so...

As I just reported on @nflnetwork the @nyjets are getting antsy, and their offer to Le'Veon Bell likely won't last past tonight. If he's going to sign there it probably will have to happen very soon.

I am of the opinion that we need to pump the brakes on assessing value. If AB melts down and Gruden murders him, I'll say the Steelers made out pretty okay.

Beckham is not as good as Brown and he brings a TON of drama. This comparison only works if Beckham has the work ethic/personality of Fitz.

Jabril Peppers has the chance to be a really good player in this league. This is a fantastic trade by the Giants.
