I know everyone seems annoyed at Taylor swift. But honestly Kelce seems pretty annoying. I don't watch a lot of KC games, so maybe it's a one night thing.
last year he annoyed the hell of me when he kept saying “no one believed in us” after they won last year. Dude, everyone thinks your QB is one of the best ever; no one worth listening to was counting you out

I know it’s a “bulletin board” type thing as to why he thought it but still. Came off as a dunce
Last year without Hill guys were tweeting about how it was going to expose Mahomes, and a lot of people had us losing the West to the Chargers.
This season many rightfully wrote them off because of how awful the offense played for much of the year.

From everybody I know who has met Travis, he’s the super kind outgoing one who makes you feel like you’re somebody.
Pat is the snobbish, introvert who would rather be watching game film. He’s not rude, he’s just no personable.

The best thing that happened tonight was Blake lively's decision to wear that tight little white top

Just watched about a dozen of the commercials, and most are just bad. The Uber Eats and Paramount+ ones were good. Any others I should check out?

Well I slept like ****. First off congrats @CBear3 .

I think at this point I would have rather got blown out. I've also come to the realization I may not see a superbowl win in my adult life (or near adult future at least). Last night was 30 years from their last one (I was 11 and remember it, but much like the Pens first two cups I was a child) This was their absolute best shot. They've had a run of making deep playoff runs every year for the last 5 years. That isn't going to keep happening.

They have a QB on a rookie contract (for one more year), they won't be able to keep everyone together once contracts come up.
All of your stars get a year older, more wear and tear. Everyone was mostly healthy going in to the playoffs, had home field advantage. Won some games they should have lost. Still couldn't get over the hump and win the SB.

Just sucks.

Like I said I'm over it today, and am going to turn off my brain about football for the next 6 months, but still....can't let these chances slip away.

Dunkin’ Donuts ad
that was my favorite. also enjoyed the Jeremy Renner Silk commercial if only because Renner did his own "stunts" which is nuts considering where he was a year ago.

Why would you take the ball first with the new OT rules? Shanahan allowed KC the freedom of knowing exactly what they needed to do. Playing with an extra down all the way down the field.
I never really thought about it until nocera made a similar post but yeah I feel like with the new rules you have to treat it like college OT. Such an advantage to know what you’re going for
my thought is regardless of ball first or ball second, your D needs to get a stop. if you get the ball first, you at least get the 3rd possession to win it.

I will be really curious what Purdy's next contract is. I'll also be curious if he decides to sit-out to start training camp and force that issue now. He almost has to given the past two years he's had - but I'll be curious if the 49ers want to commit to him long-term.

I thought the Mountain Dew Baja blast commercial was pretty good. I liked the Reese’s cup one and the Dunkin one.

Most commercials were dumb.

So it didn't have to do with the defense being gassed. I guess I can sort of see his logic, but I still think giving Mahomes the ball with him knowing exactly what he needs to do was a mistake. Also, settling for a field goal instead of getting the TD was probably a mistake. Also, getting the PAT blocked, abandoning the run game in the second half, special teams turnover... Those were also mistakes.

Yea, I don't know how he saw that and felt the defense could stop KC. Especially giving the ball to KC knowing all they had to do was get a touchdown, which basically allowed them to not have to play it safe and the whole playbook was open.

Right. Plus, if you defer and KC scores a TD (which they would have), your offensive game plan changes and you know you're in "4 down territory."

Shanahan made alot of dumb decisions in the 2nd half yesterday. He's so smart, yet so stupid sometimes.

I also think losing Greenlaw really hurt. Some of those Kelce plays late wouldn't have been as big of gainers if it was Greenlaw instead of Burks in. Greenlaw is the attitude and heartbeat of the defense even if Warner is a little bit better. They feed off each other. His absence was felt.

The current rules are better than the old rules...well the old old rules. Even if the old old rules the 49ers would have won with the fg.

I'd be fine with college ot rules in the NFL too to be honest.

Yeah I think the new playoff OT rules are fine. Change the regular season OT to match it and I think they're in a decent place.

The current rules are probably fine. I'm just saying regardless of how you do it, always seems to be a discussion about strategy or rules when there's an OT game instead of actually about the game.

to be clear, SF did not lose because of when they possessed the ball in OT

I still think putting the defense out there gassed to start OT would have not been the best idea. Warner was sucking wind at the coin toss.
