I mean Gould is gone and they needed a kicker and this guy seems like a good one lol.

Not what I would have done but having Gould the last few years and him being automatic....hopefully this kid continues that.

@mac5155 @Beveridge @count2infinity tell me about Ji'ayir Brown.
He was the best player in the secondary. Always seemed to be making the big play when it was needed.
Seconded… I know jpj was the better prospect, but on the field it always felt like Brown was making the big plays. He always seemed to be in the right spot at the right time.

Brown is awesome. Very instinctual safety that has a nose for the ball. He also seemed to be a leader on the field and the guy the defense relied on or looked to in big situations. As others have stated, he always seemed to be exactly where he needed to be to make the big play. Dodint most likely hates him. ;)

Porter didn’t get to make any of the big plays because teams wouldn’t throw near him. Purdue targeted him like crazy in game 1 and he was all over it. After that, he’d get targeted 2-3 times a game and that was it. Allowed others to step up.

With the 149th pick in the draft, the Green Bay Packers select…..

Sean Clifford, Penn State.

Somehow just realized that the Titans traded up to get Levis despite having last years QB1, special talent, better than KSP Malik Willis. Idiot draft gurus.

The Eagles seemed to have gotten better than last year. Kind of crazy

I guess their only path to failure is if Hurts’ 2022 season was more of an anomaly than anything but if he plays even at 80% of where he was last year they should go back to the super bowl

Coach who left HBCU for the Power 5 and raided his old team in the process, complains that not enough HBCU players are being drafted.....

https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/363 ... yer-picked

I only get 12 1-AA players in total. Because except for an occasional one who may play HBCU for altruistic reasons- if they were that good they'd be in 1-A.

I'm so tired of hearing about him. This isn't a "good story". He has always been an attention/glory seeker and this Colorado experiment will not end well (not that they were great before)

the breadth of his career was before I was out of diapers (2019) so really I only know him as a talking head. And holy **** is he annoying

finding the clip where Carlton Fisk tells him to **** off was cathartic

I grew up a Red Sox fan but always forgot that Fisk played more for the White Sox than the Red Sox during my lifetime. Also played until he was 45, and not many games as DH that late in his career. My knees ache just thinking about that.
