I have no recollection of Drew Brees on a broadcast last year.

I remember seeing him, but I don't recall hearing anything he said...

think of the most generic things a color commentator can say during a broadcast and with slightly weird delivery

that’s what Brees was like

He apparently did Notre Dame in addition to NFL, but I honestly have no idea what his voice even sounds like.

I just remember wondering why the ND network couldn’t find one of the hundreds of ND football alums to do color for their games instead of a Purdue alum.

I didn't open the tweet at first and thought that was the top 16 NFL QBs, not AFC. Was going to say the drop-off after five is pretty steep.

Same. I saw Davis Mills at 16 and became overwhelmed with concern.

My biggest worry is this is going to be a wildly entertaining year.

I just don't feel like that's enough, especially given what Ben went through - then again, the NFL doesn't really care about women.

Rap said it was just a guess but anything less than a full season is not enough.

4 games would be comical

I’m not sure what the CBA outlines for a suspension in this but he probably doesn’t deserve to play in the NFL ever again. It’ll be interesting if this somehow turns into a Ray Rice situation where his suspension is short but teams still refuse to touch him

Very strange being a Clemson alum/fan and Steelers fan on this one.

The Browns won't care. They gave up a ton to get him, including alienating the only QB to win them a playoff game in the last 27 years. If the league says he can play, he'll play.

just a reminder that Calvin Ridley got 16 games for placing a 1,500 dollar parlay

Unless/until something can be done about Watson's joke salary for 2022 any suspension that doesn't carry over into at least part of 2023 is silly.

I'd prefer to also see the Browns punished for circumventing punishment.

That directly undermines the legitimacy league so I get that.

I'd give him at least a year.
