Even though the product leaves me wanting most of the time, I did enjoy watching football Sunday from 9:30-11PM or so.
I can't read the entire article, but I'm shocked that the four games in London is an annual thing. I knew they always did a few, but didn't know it was that many. A European division might make sense at some point - and the game is growing among younger groups over there as well.

This season they got 60K+ at each game in Tottenham and 84K at each game in Wembley. Permanent international expansion would logistically make the most sense in Mexico City, but London makes sense economically and has world class facilities. Tottenham's stadium was constructed specifically to be able to accommodate NFL games. My guess is that the biggest stumbling block would be convincing players to move to London.

I don't see how putting a team in London makes sense with all the travel involved and players not wanting to live there etc.
NFL
Also, 18 games as well, kthx.
NFL
They would play 8 games in London which means 8 teams would have to fly to London and back for their next game which.. looks at schedule.. is exactly the amount of teams that are doing that this season
NFL
Just set it up that they are in the US for the first 4 weeks every year, then teams only play them after or before a bye week or something when in London. So every game is in London?Yes, let's set up a permanent condition where fifteen teams have 8+ hours of one-way travel to get to and return from a competitor's venue.
NFL
Playing any games in Europe is stupid.
But if they set up a team located in London, with the way NFL scheduling works, teams in the Central and West divisions of either conference (depending on how they set things up) could conceivably see themselves playing in London every other year, or even in consecutive years for several seasons in a row. That's flatly dumb.

Have to have a European division and the other opponents work around bye weeks or long weeks after a Thursday game.
Playoffs would be interesting though...

100% would've thought Shyster or Tif would be the first ones to post a Wendover video.

Hmm that might have been it. It's pretty rare i go into that thread though. Maybe im thinking of a CGP Grey link

I think if the NFL is going to do that, it should purchase it's own dedicated long-haul aircraft. For example, there are going to be a bunch of low-cycle used Airbus A380 supers going on the market in the near future as airlines like Emirates wind down their fleets. An NFL A380 would not only provide enough room to provide business-class seats for an entire team, you'd probably have enough extra space to build in stuff like film rooms so that teams could make some productive use of the travel time.

Damn, do we have the same subscription list?Hmm that might have been it. It's pretty rare i go into that thread though. Maybe im thinking of a CGP Grey link
MiMH is the only one to have mentioned that channel directly, regarding The Martian. Neat.
