It looks improved because they have faced terrible offenses.

I mean, you can only beat the teams in front of you. Most of the league sucks as it is. More than half of the league averages less than 22 points per game.

I wouldn't rate the majority of those offenses as terrible either...

They are. What they did yesterday against New York, I don't know...but that's a good team.

I damn sure don’t want the Eagles to win the Super Bowl but anytime anyone beats those dirtbags 37-9 it’s gonna put a smile on my face.

If the season ended today the Ravens would be a wildcard team at .500. Yuck. The AFCN should not have two teams in the playoffs.

Yep, and Turner Field was just over 20 years old when it closed a couple of years ago.

I think they would have beat them in 2008/9 if they had met in the playoffs. Not sure this is the year. Somehow I tricked myself into believing last year they had a chance, but not again.

The thing that sucks is even if they beat the Pats in week 15, I would still put money on the Pats if they were to meet again in the playoffs. And if the Steelers lose to them in week 15, you think they would beat them in Foxboro? Plus, there's a good chance the Steelers lose a bye if they lose in week 15.

I don’t care about what happens in the regular season. I think we finally have a defense capable of stopping them, or at least containing them.

The Lions game soured me on their pass defense. Are they better? Sure. Is it enough to stop the Pats? Don't think so. The teams that have beaten the Pats in the playoffs either 1) beat them in a shootout, which isn't very easy, or 2) have a defense that can get pressure with 4 guys and have CBs that can play tight coverage. The Steelers aren't there in either category, unless last week against the Titans was the offense's coming out party.

For the Steelers to beat the Pats they need a healthy and able Joe Haden.

Fake field goal with seven seconds left in the half with the ball not even near the end zone...? But why...? One of the stranger play calls I have seen...Seattle is just mentally horrendous with a yard to go...

Interesting play call to end the game from SEA. There were 7 seconds on the clock, 52 yd field goal range. They sent out their offense as if they were running a play, inducing ATL to take a time out..... which meant they couldn't burn a TO to ice the SEA kicker, whom they sent out on to the field to not make a game-tying field goal immediately after. (So did it end up just being an elaborate way to ice your own kicker? Pete Carroll may have out-Pete Carrolled himself)

All I know is that game looked like a sht show after five minutes, and it ended up being a fun watch in the final five minutes.
